Those things are rock solid! My only suggestion is to "unpack" the bag, line it with an old rug and then "repack" (I made a video on how to do it a couple years back - SHOCK!). Helps to keep the bag "uniform" and minimizes hard spots from the internal sandbags shifting. Those Everlast racks are awesome when space is tight. Looking forward to some more training montages - Yo, Adrien!
If that were mine, it would just turn into an extension for my closet. In fact, I had a stationary bicycle that could hold a couple dozen shirts and a blanket or two.
Bummer. My kit had all the necessary hardware. It might have been in a small cardboard box that looked like packing material. Hopefully you still have the box it came in.
They are relatively inexpensive. I read reviews and people said they broke them...this one seems sturdy enough so I don't know what people were trying to do with them 😄
Where did you buy it? Did the bag come with it? Funny you should show this, I was in contact with a friend/instructor that retired from Gov training. We may start up again after 35+ years, and an extra 40lbs. lol Outdoors in my yard, regardless of the weather.
😄 I remodeled a kitchen with Ikea cabinets. I think I only made one mistake, but it was all on me. I mis measured a wall panel, but it was easily fixable 😁
SaltyShellback, My Nephew got a heavy bag for Christmas but no stand. His Grandpa and I will make one so he an use it in the garage on I get back home.
I am not too sure what you mean by that. I was able to complete the whole thing. There were only 2 screws that were tight out of the whole entire stand and every other screw was not tight and stuck to the end. I was so annoyed and just decided to put the whole thing together and it worked out.
I just bought this this past weekend, and I set it up within an hour and everything is super loose. Do you have any recommendations ? I’m scared to hang the bag with everything wobbling around. I followed the directions and the screws, washers, and bolts are where they should be. The bolt only goes so far. I’ve been wanting to use it the past two days but have been out of luck until I figure out how to tighten it all
Bro I just got this and it’s like none of the screws fit probably I have washers on and the bolts just don’t go in all the way just doesn’t seem right to me. Maybe I need different tools?
@@giannimazza7518 There are lock washers built into the nuts to keep them from loosening when in use, so you probably just need to go get some better wrenches instead of trying to use the crappy ones that come with the stand.
Hey, I bought bs UFC version of this and it said "Easy install" which ofc i didn't believe. Problem is that the socket head screw is too long for the connecting bottom metal (sideways) piece, Do i really need a tool like urs to push in the nylon lock night so that the head screw will be locked in place (and still stick out?). They look similar to M8x70mm 38mm. Thanks!
BIG thank you!!!! I bought my bag from a garage sale unassembled. Couldn’t figure it out correctly BUT you helped BIG TIME. Thanks bro.
My pleasure! Glad I could help 😉
had one of those years ago. they work nicely
And they don't hit back 😄
Looks solid!
So far so good 😁
Damn Salty got the moves. Well done! TFS brother 🇺🇸
Thanks! It's all the Nutty Buddies that gives me the energy 😉
This was very helpful thank you
My pleasure! 😉
The end was worth it Salty San. If I tried to do a spinning anything it would be on a Skinny Medic compound fracture review.
I am a little out of practice so I just plan to run away 😄
Nice....hi karate bag....
I had one for years....
I miss it..... nice stand....it should work great.....
So far so good. It hasn't attacked me yet 😄Yeeeee Haaaawww
Next time will you do a "how to" showing me how to assemble my Ikea entertainment center? =)
😄 It might be a while before I get an Ikea entertainment center.

That's a good idea with the rug. When I get motivated, I might try that 😄
I need to get one of those.
They are great for working out neked 😄
@@saltyshellback Yes! Nekedness is optimal.

I had a treadmill that could dry a whole weeks worth of clothes 😄
What’s the wrench size u used bro because I can’t find the right size for the nut because it’s so weird
I used a 5/8" socket and wrench.
Thanks man
My pleasure!
THANK YOU AO MUCH
My pleasure! 😉
How long did this take you? I just unpacked the box and got discouraged. So many pieces .
I think about an hour including the recording time.
The allen wrench included is def worthless
Beautiful sharing my friend again 🍷🍷
thanks!
Man did that kit come wit your cuz I stuck with here with only bolts and no nuts or washer😭
Bummer. My kit had all the necessary hardware. It might have been in a small cardboard box that looked like packing material. Hopefully you still have the box it came in.
I just built a keyboard stand. looked like that out of the box LOL
Cool!😄
Cool, I could have used one of those a couple years ago

@@saltyshellback yeah I built a hanger in my recording studio for my heavy bag, do I can put it up when the studio is dormant
@@saltyshellbackwhere can you buy one?
Would you happen to know the dimensions of the height? I'm interested in buying one, but my basement ceiling is shorter than average.
Not sure. The specs says it's 84.13" tall which is about 7 feet.
I had to trim the top some
The left stand is bigger then the right so the bolt won’t go through what should I do
Check to see if you used longer bolts on a part that takes shorter bolts.
If you name your bag 'Brandon' you will be able to kick 32% harder =)
Heck yeah!😄
What's the size of the eyehook bolt that holds the punching bag? M10 x what?
I'm not sure what size the threads are. Sorry.
Saw your main picture bro, I'm a former ABE hell yeah boxing again wml 🥊
Sweet!

OK
@saltyshellback dude are you a npc

I got the stand from Amazon. My instructor gave it to me when I was in Pittsburgh 😁
They should make IKEA videos just like this, so you wouldn't have to buy everything twice, because you end up making innocent mistakes. lol
😄 I remodeled a kitchen with Ikea cabinets. I think I only made one mistake, but it was all on me. I mis measured a wall panel, but it was easily fixable 😁
What is the name of the nut that the bag hook screws into
It's just a lock nut like all the other ones.
What size Allen wrench do you use
I'm not sure. It came with the package.
SaltyShellback, My Nephew got a heavy bag for Christmas but no stand. His Grandpa and I will make one so he an use it in the garage on I get back home.
Cool! I thought about hanging it from a rafter in the garage, but didn't want to have to keep talking it down when I want to park in the gara😄
What size is the socket and the ratchet?
5/8" socket. 3/8" drive ratchet
I just assemble mine and it feels loose, is that normal?
It is a mass produced product, so the fitment may be a bit off.
Maybe try tightening up the bolts some more.
Now You can kick a$$ (Bag) anytime you want!
😄Yup!
I'm trying to put this crap together and the damn screws are not tight. It's like one is tight and the other one is loose AF. So annoyed
hopefully the bolt is not stripped out.

@@DashnaLynch OK glad it worked out
What tool did you use to tighten the bolt?
What’s the measurement of the wrench attachment too?
It's just a standard 3/8" drive ratchet and either a 9/16" or 5/8" socket.
What tool did you use ?
I think it was either a 9/16 or 5/8 socket.
Attempting to build this is enough to break a man.
Just gotta take it slow 😉

Just curious, did it come with washers? If not, you may need to go buy some washers to make the connections tighter.

It came with washers I just need the right tool for the screw to go through the bolt and I’ve had no luck 😅

Sorry, I thought I replied, but apparently screwtube deleted my response. I'm not quite sure what you are asking.
@@saltyshellback It's okay, i managed to install that thing, Thanks!
What is the weight of the bag?
I think about 40-50 pounds.
Do any one know the size of bolts I lost mine
I think the bolt heads are 5/8". Not sure what the thread size is though.
Where did you get those pads for the ground
Amazon. I think they were about $20 for 6 pieces.
I tried assembling mine and the nuts wouldn’t even go on :/
bummer. sorry to hear that
how many pounds is your heavy bag
Not sure but at least 50 pounds.
4:10 😂😂😂 Sorry, I'm childish, lol
DEEZ Nuts 😅
