Loved catching up on your race journey despite the setbacks! Your determination to bounce back stronger is truly inspiring. Keep pushing forward, and who knows, maybe that sub 1:30 is within reach after all! Rooting for you all the way, Neil, dear friend! 🏃‍♂

Thanks, Sparky. I was well pleased with that. I go again this coming Sunday but the sickness I had floored me and I'm only feeling back to normal now.

Super time Neil, those conditions were grim to say the least!

I know. I was in a heap the next day. I was freezing after I stopped.

Yeah my face and hands were numb over the last couple of kms. As races go do you think those conditions have an impact on pace? I really struggled with circulation but always thought that heat and wind is the enemy in a race.

This chest infection looks to be doing the rounds & travelling all over the place! Great time & consistency with the 1/2 marathon, well done 😀

Thanks, Martin. Yes the chest thing is nasty. It has put my mam into hospital this past week

Years and years of easy running has the heart rate fairly low. Just need to find a bit more pace now.

Great performance Neil. Noted your HM was 4 seconds faster than mine. Like yourself have pencilled in a sub 90 attempt.

I was hoping to pop the sub 90 this coming Sunday but that sickness I had floored me and I'm only just about 90% back to normal today. I tried a workout on Saturday and had nothing in my legs.
