  • I hadn’t seen any videos covering the spring powered version of this so I decided to make a short video to show it. For $110 I Think this is an awesome tri-shot pump action.
    It’s nice you don’t have to worry about charging it with gas so it’ll always be dependable. The biggest drawback I’ve seen with it so far is that shell door keeps popping open when you shoot it, however I think with a little oiling and working it over a bit that should be an easy fix. It doesn’t affect the shell staying in the chamber. It’s just annoying that it keeps popping open
    It comes with three shells that hold 30 BBs each. So for a back up weapon like I’m using it for I think it’ll be perfect. The spray pattern for the three BBs that it shoots is very random at any distance. I tried from 20 feet and 50 feet about . Sometimes you get a 4 inch spread, and sometimes you get a spread that’s over 1 foot. But all three BBs shoot out of a single barrel. It does not have three barrels like some of the more expensive models. Which I don’t see as a problem for me.
    The feel of it is almost identical to a real sawed off shotgun and the metal body and barrel feel solid and durable. The fake wood also looks and feels pretty close to real. But overall it just feels nice and solid all around. Racking it also feels very smooth and crisp when it clicks.
    For the price tag I don’t think I could really find anything wrong with this. But I will have to take it out to the field and see how it does in the long run.

    Glad someone made a vid of the golden eagle tri burst..not tri shot..what was the drop off on the last 2 bbs trailing the first

      at the distances I was shooting I couldn't really tell exactly how far they were dropping off the first BB. It varies from shot to shot it looks like along with the spray pattern but at about 100 feet they all seem to stay more or less within a 1 1/2 or 2 foot grouping and I can't notice any BBs dropping off before the others.

    I heard there is an adjustment for the hop up in front of the rear sight on the barrel

    • @Tubrick_86
      @Tubrick_86  2 месяца назад +1

      Well I'll be a sunova B@#ch.... You're right. There is indeed a hopup adjustment switch on top of the barrel in front of where the rear sights would be. I thought it was a switch to help disassemble the gun because it doesn't look like a typical hopup adjustment. It's a bit hard to push up but once you push it all the way forward, it has 5 distinct "clicks" as you push it backwards and after testing it outside it does adjust the hopup and works very well. I've always either used the gun as an emergency backup or for CQB so I never had the need to adjust it. It was set on the highest setting from the factory which launches .20s very far but i knocked it down 2 clicks out of 5 to get a straighter trajectory. Thanks for the info!

    How has this springer been holding up? Been debating been the spring and gas version

    • @Tubrick_86
      @Tubrick_86  10 месяцев назад

      Well, I don’t want to jinx anything but mine has been holding up excellent. I haven’t had a single issue with it and I use it almost every time I go out playing. It’s got some cosmetic wear but that’s about it. Nothing that impacts the function of the gun. If something did happen to it and I wasn’t able to fix it I would definitely buy another one.

    Also uses a gbb inner barrel but no hop up window just a hole for the existing hop up..which is a small and concave

      I also noticed the cylinder was ported..the hole is right under were the shells go..you can see the o-ringed piston head when you rack it back if there is no shell

      One good thing, the piston head looks like it's metal and it's ported

    does the fake ejection port move when you rack the slide?

      unfortunately, no. It but since it’s a springer, I suppose that helps keep dust and debris out of the inside.

    Have you tried .23,25,28,30 or 32's

    • @Tubrick_86
      @Tubrick_86  2 месяца назад

      I have not, because again, it’s for me just a back up I carry on my pack or something I use for CQB so I’m not sniping with it or going for accuracy/distance. So .20 has been plenty good enough for me for both of those. But based on its’ decent performance with .20s I would imagine you could go to .25 or .28 and have decent results.

    Can you upgrade the spring power

    • @Tubrick_86
      @Tubrick_86  Год назад

      I can’t give you a definite answer because I don’t know. But I’m sure it’s possible, whether or not they actually sell upgrade springs specific to this gun. You just have to figure out how to take it apart and find a stiffer spring, or use spacers on the existing Spring to make it tighter. Although right out of the box it’s shooting around 400 ft./s with .20 BBs. And the HopUp is great right out of the box too. I have no problem shooting 100-150 feet. It is a shotgun though, not a rifle. lol 😆

      @Fr33dom89 Год назад

      @Backyard_Airsoft oh well if its shooting 400 with .20 then that's plenty is the hop up adjustable

      www.evike.com/products/39842/ here’s a link to it. it claims 308fps. I should specify that when I chronoed mine, I had to use only one BB because shooting the 3 shot burst throws off the reading. and because all three bbs come out of one barrel, it probably raised the fps by only shooting 1 bb, if that makes sense. also, it says the hopup is fixed and non adjustable. Hope that helps.

    what gram bbs do you think works best for this shotgun?

    • @Tubrick_86
      @Tubrick_86  Год назад

      in my opinion, I think .20 works best.
      Because it’s a shotgun, you probably aren’t using it for, or don’t need to worry about shooting long distance so a heavy bb that makes it more accurate or less prone to being blown around by the wind is not important. it might actually work to the advantage of the tri-shot shotgun being a lighter bb because the three BBs will spread out more over distance as opposed to being grouped tighter together like heavy BBs might be. (haven’t tested it but just a thought)
      Also a lighter BB will move a little faster to the target, or have a higher fps. which is always best. but FPS at shotgun engagement distance is probably not super important. Just another thought. hope that helps. 👍
