The obese doctor standing at the patients head comes across as incredibly rough with the patient. He treat the patient as an object rather than a human being. The noises in the background, such as phone ringing, people kicking stools etc sounds terrible and is very disrespectful to the patient.This is not something which would happen in civilized countries!

We are blessed to be in an era where medical science can do wonders. My 8 yrs daughter has got SJ Syndrome, GB syndrome, heart surgery, eyes issues, tracheotomy, and many other health conditions. Blessed to have her ,she is a fighter and her doctors never give up.. have learnt so much about life. God is great.. doctors are god on earth

I can see many wrong practices which need improvement.
The nurse assistant put the circuit and mask on the patients chest, that bad treatment.
Initially when the patient entered, nobody is talking to him to gauge the level of his anxiety.
No pre-oxygenation, missed a vital life saving protocol
Very fast injection of propofol
Use of scoline in a young patient with no obvious indication
Crude technique of laryngoscopy
Trachea intubated while relaxation not fully complete
Lip is caught tightly between the tube, teeth and inflation port, will lead to edema and may be gangrene if surgery prolonged.
Unnecessary application of antibiotic ointment in the eye ( allergies). do u always apply ointment while u go to sleep...!!

I never smoked or drunk but after kidney stone stent remove operation they gave me anesthesia and when i woke up everything was moving in slow motion and like 0.25 x speed same with sound . That day i realised why people do drugs

Is there anyone here who feels uneasy watching the doctors shove that thing down the guy's throat?After watching this, it makes sense that my mouth was swollen after surgery.
Don't take tension it is for the protection of his body the waste materials if.try to escape through his mouth the cloth gonna soak it of and the swallowing you say it's not possible because the patient is in deep sleep he cannot do any thing cause his mind gonna into deep sleep simple answer meditation state so don't take tension

Anesthesia is really a blessing as I was tolerating 7hrs of labour pain without any progress and at last I have to gone for an emergency c-sec and when they injected anesthesia all my pain disappeared and I was like wow 😍 what a relief and I enjoyed the whole process and my boy arrived ❤️
Watching the setup itself is scary. It puts patient under lots of tension. I feel like committing if something is put in mouth .
I usually am sedated before even going to the OR most of the times. So I don’t remember anything which is good

I was very nervous when I know in 5 months pregnancy my c section will be done whenever it needed. I was in depression. Inside I was totally nervous no one can understand my fear. But doctors understand it. And Doctor who was anesthesia doctor come to talk me he daily give me 2 minutes daily routine round but in 2 minutes he talk to me. He said what's you real problem I said I want to be wake up while c Section. He said ok every thing will go in your way

I was sedated during my surgery as my hemoglobin was only 3.5 , 11units blood was transfused to my body by Central Line . Also i was given very heavy seadtion for complete Blockage of Locomtive Nervous System, right hand was made completely numb. Amputation was to be done , After 18hours i regained sense for first time after Surgery. I could not identify anyone , also no sense in brain. I remember only one thing (and i was Continuously abusing Doctors and Anasthesia Doctor, they made videos when i was in Post-OT care ICCU. I felt like my Head was flying in Space with lightening white sparkles. And i dont had my body.... It was a much funny video which us still in my harddrive

I posted after 5 abdominal operations how terrified Iam of you guys ! Last time it was life saving and they brought a lovely anaesthetist to see me ! He was lovely to talk about my fears ! He ordered Diazepam pre op ! Said I wouldn’t know anything ! He told me to press a button when I woke up it would help with my pain ( although pain never was a worry to me ) I went to the operating theatre I felt out of it remember like I was going to a party and a balcony of people enjoying themselves ! But as soon I was in that room bolt upright ! Every excuse all my fear ! Like an alarm ! The terror was so real ! When I woke up the anaesthetist came to see me he said you had a button to press you didn’t press it in almost 12 hours ! No way ! I was too scared ! Fear is fear and I willed myself to go through pain barrier ! I don’t know why Iam so scared ! 👀

OMG, i just had general anesthesia two days ago for appendix and i felt exactly the same, after i woke up i had sore throat , and it was probably because of that oxygen tube they put down in your throat
Yes it is because you were intubated. They do this as a precaution to make sure that if you have any unforeseen breathing issue, the ventilator will correct that instantly. This is a preventive measure. They dont do this for every surgery, but its done on a case by case basis. The last thing anyone would want is for the patient to stop breathing during surgery.
