Hey! Phealix here, it has been some time since I've been on Subnautica, but I am super happy to see everyone still enjoying the Thermal City! This mayyyy be a little late...like a year at this point but I finally got around to figuring out a way to get this base uploaded! So, if you want to check out and walk around the base yourself, you finally can now! I have uploaded the save file to the Thunderstore. thunderstore.io/c/subnautica/p/PhealixYT/ThermalCityMegaBase/ Most of the instructions should be on that page, but just in case: ---- Important!!! ---- Make Sure you have installed: - BepinEx - SMLHelper - Decorations Mod - Sleek Bases Mod These are required to get everything in the base working and looking exactly as I had! If there are problems with it, do let me know! Anyways, Thanks again for the support on this video and I hope to see ya around! - Phealix (I am also aware of my mistake with the cyclops...and uhhh....you know I still think a prawn suit backpack carrying people is funny xD)
Coming here from the original mega base build video and getting hit over the head with the realization that YOU BUILT THAT WHOLE PREVIOUS MEGA BASE IN SURVIVAL???
Wow... Thank you very much for charing this! I started my 2nd playthrough in survival mode this week and now I started building my main base in the Koosh Biom. Thank you so much for the inspiration! This base is just amazing ❤
I think a base like this, would have introduced the Sea Truck, to shuttle scientists and researchers to and from the facility. ;) little theoretical intro to your base being down here after the launch from the planet, while Marguerite is eating her way through a Lev until she reaches the Ice biome .
This is amazing! I’m glad you used the furniture mod but we’re still so creative with the uses for all the items you had access to. I love the inclusion of a Senate! You’ve thought up so many genius inclusions to the build that make sense to keep such an environment livable. Keep up the amazing work!
Wow, what a nice built base. I love to build bases and give them meaning, even though it might be a single player game :P In subnautica and subnautica below zero there is so much effort needed to build one large base if not more large ones, so creative mode is the best for that since it requires so much resources.
I still wanted the control room to be included in the living large update. it was such a lost opportunity to create the perfect base and be able to shutdown stuff we didn't need at the time as well as not needing a beacon to know the base location (i lost count of how many bases i started building at the start of the game and then couldn't find them because i still didn't had the blueprint fot the beacon).
Here is an idea to rationalize no people while building. You need to build somewhere for them to work once they arrive at the subnautica world after the gun turns off.
My biggest complaint of the game is that bases were essentially unnecessary. You need storage until you have the cyclops, and then you need a handful of places that generate power to restore your batteries and that's really it. I kept hoarding materials for when I got to 'that part' of the game where I would need a huge base to do something and then the game ended.
OMG, this place is amazing! It actually does feel like a city dedicated to the history and research on this planet. The only question is, how did the architects behind this place make it with that sea dragon around? (sarcasm) And does it even care anymore? (also sarcasm)
Do you think Alterra (The company in Subnautica) and the RDA (company in James Cameron's Avatar Movies) get along? Are they competing on the space faring market? Does Alterra have the man power to support a fully realized colony? (all hypotheticals feel free to ignore)
I killed the sea dragon and have been making a base there. I killed all of them. there might still be 1 but he's been hiding from me, I'll find him soon though
That's a nice base location But you'll need several massive towers of the round rooms with just reinforcements In my playthroughs my main base is at the grassy plateaus then have small bases with alien containments, water purifiers, fabricator, moonpool, nuclear reactor, bed and scanner room at the blood kelp forest, lost river and in the crater at the lava zone which is at the back entrance to the containment facility which can be accessed with your prawn suit

Love the city!
You do know🧐 that with the cyclops depth module 2 or 3 is enough to make sure that the cyclops don't get crush by the crush depth pressure.
It’s nice to see that people still enjoy subnautica
I've enjoyed it so much since discovering it for the first time myself a couple of months game ago!
The fanbase is very loyal I’m in the fanbase
But the subNautica only free on 14 dec
subnautica is love, subnautica is life
Subnautica is freedom Subnautica is happiness

Good luck with your second playthrough! Awesome to hear the base has given you some inspiration 😄
Guys we found bowser's castle
I think a base like this, would have introduced the Sea Truck, to shuttle scientists and researchers to and from the facility. ;) little theoretical intro to your base being down here after the launch from the planet, while Marguerite is eating her way through a Lev until she reaches the Ice biome .
Bro really cooked up the most fire base in Subautica.

Bro has a NASA computer
Eh its not that hard to run
what do you mean you can't go down with cyclops, I did that in survival no issues)
The subscriber count for the quality and passion for these videos is criminal!
always so creative and such hard work
Creativity at the cost of my sanity haha 🤣, but thank you!
This was truly amazing and imaginative well done..
This would be epic with multiplayer

Been playing this game since 2018, love seeing fellow base builders
Wow the things you do is crazy huge respect bro
nice, made me get the Decorations Mod
Awesome dude! One of the best bases I've seen in years.
Subnautica is great glad you made this man :)
No way you only have a 1k subs you deserve more ❤
Thank you for the sentiment! Super happy to even say I have that much! Just gotta keep growing from here 😁
This has given me inspiration for a base like this around the cove tree in the lost river
I headcanon the sea dragon to be a guardian of the city somehow idk why
That’s a really cool idea
@@Ceilingfan-g2g thx
Bro made the aurora in the lava zone
Should have called it "Thermopolis", also great build!
This + nitrox mod + friends = fun role play
wait but cyclopses can gat down there with the level 3 upgrade
i think he mistook the cyclops for the seamoth
I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone build a city in Subnautica and call it Rapture yet. At least on the internet
3 main goals. Use the base to: Study the Volcano 2. Research all the precursor stuff. And 3. Tame Karen, the sea dragon.
In my head, I think how they get down. There is a modified pronsuit being more like a centaur that can get through ruff training
Underrated

I want to make this base now... It's the best city ever. Would vacation there
Getting some good thermal generator usage
You should make a base for each biome, ofcourse the larger biomes having bigger bases
Here is an idea to rationalize no people while building. You need to build somewhere for them to work once they arrive at the subnautica world after the gun turns off.
So whos gonna tell him theres no hull strength or ceush depth in creative
There was damage to the base that cant happen in creative
That base seems ito be made for the multiplayer mod
YOU CAN MAKE IT EVEN BIGGER I DARE YOU
The cyclops can go as far as u want it to
I would kill for a map download. I’d love to be able to walk around and see all the decor for myself.
cool name suggestion- Kingom Of Heat
I can’t even use a base that big, my bases usually consist of 2 multipurpose rooms, 2 moon pools, and 1 scanner room
Just wow ! :)
i need that mod, I've literally used the propulsion cannon to carry cargo crates and stuff back to my base its so frustrating
SOOOO EPPIIIICCCC!!! ❤🎉🤩
Cyclops can reach that deep, they just need the depth upgrades.
Now add a mod with extra base pieces😂😂😂

The sea dragon -
Bonjour
this has large house tour vibe
This base is lit🔥🔥
OMG, this place is amazing! It actually does feel like a city dedicated to the history and research on this planet.
The only question is, how did the architects behind this place make it with that sea dragon around? (sarcasm) And does it even care anymore? (also sarcasm)
29:08 your base is in good hands
It's very cool! :D
Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the video :D
Bro casually made riley have another 9 trillion credit plus dept
My computer begins evaporating after placing more than 3 multipurpose rooms
Do you think Alterra (The company in Subnautica) and the RDA (company in James Cameron's Avatar Movies) get along? Are they competing on the space faring market? Does Alterra have the man power to support a fully realized colony? (all hypotheticals feel free to ignore)
So amazing
What do you mean the cyclops can’t make it down there? The max depth upgrade is set to 1500 meters.
This isn't a base, it's a Zelda dungeon.
Bros depleting this planet from titanium
Did anyone notice the little Markiplier figurines at 24:02?
U can get the figure from a hidden life pod
at least you won't run out of power
bro builded the murder drones's bunker lol
super base i think you build this years
AC working double time
Imagine how much titanium would’ve been needed
Whats the people capacity of the base, like how many people can fit in the base? And dorms?
How did you get the waiting room chairs to be so straight and aligned?
I killed the sea dragon and have been making a base there. I killed all of them. there might still be 1 but he's been hiding from me, I'll find him soon though
My fav room was thermal one
pls do it in below zero next
reminds me of hotland/THE CORE From Undertale very cool :)
One sea dragon that’s gone
using a forklift underwater
what do you mean cyclops cannot go this deep? of course it can O.o just needs an upgrade
Question is there a story in creative Subnautica: below zero?
THIS IS A BIG UNDERWATER VILLAGE
wow, nice!
how do you get so muck matirials
He is doing it in creative mode
I'm getting 82 degrees at my Lost River base. Wtf 😂
Why not use aquariums as elevators
That's a nice base location
But you'll need several massive towers of the round rooms with just reinforcements
In my playthroughs my main base is at the grassy plateaus then have small bases with alien containments, water purifiers, fabricator, moonpool, nuclear reactor, bed and scanner room at the blood kelp forest, lost river and in the crater at the lava zone which is at the back entrance to the containment facility which can be accessed with your prawn suit
why it look like rapture from bioshock remaster?
How do you source power down there
At this point, that’s a city 😅
Make a base with the automation mod.
POV normal people 100 hours in subnauica me 10000000000000000000 hours in subnauica
Now build it in hardcore
Why not though so true
“Spoilers” for a ten year old game-
You shouldnt build so symmetrical and place all thing in a row. People like some chaos.
i like where your head is at
Yep BOO making a video in creative mode. What will you do next?
kool
20:07 HUH?
Pin this plzz
Honestly, yea it’s big. But it’s also built in “creative mode” so meh
Why it is just for fun
cool name suggestion- Kingom Of Heat
