I'm starting to think that tingle is supposed to be meta jab at adults who play Zelda games. He's a gross man child who has mastered time and self duplication in order to chase his fantasy of being a little fairy boy - but no matter how many secrets of the universe he wields he will never be real fairy.
- But, when the child who this adventure was actually intended cannot find their way forward, they come to him - tingle - for his walkthroughs on where to find shards of the triforce.

The instrument on the ground while being cello-like in portrayal, sounds more like an erhu. Although the sound in game is a synthesized sound.
