Bluetti specifically said "about 1000 cycles" for the battery in the AC500 Indiegogo discussion. That's less than half what was mentioned here. Either Bluetti is saying different things to different people, or the reviewer had an oops. Either way, I appreciate this review and showing the unit! Thank you! Unfortunately, Bluetti has not replied to repeated inquiry for what the charge percentage will be after the "about 1000 cycles". The Terenary battery (what this is according to Bluetti) is typically down to 60-70% at 800-900 cycles. They also are a lot more prone to catching on fire than Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries that most people prefer. The advantage is higher energy capacity for less weight and cost.
Thanks for putting up this video. I haven't seen anyone else do a review of this yet. I got one with on the way as an add on with the AC500. Seems like it's a pretty solid unit. I was surprised to see the power brick. But at $99 you can't beat it. In fact, it looks even better built than I thought it would at that price.
@@borandell9915 I got an AC500 and 1 B300S 2 weeks ago. I have another B300S arriving today. Looks like the accessories will be here by the middle of the month. And I order 2 PV400 panels which will be here in December.
@@seekersees693 Sounds about right. my number was like #1132 and both the AC500 & B300S came several weeks ago. I'm waiting on some add on's and the perks. Very happy with the AC500. It's perfect for my needs.
@@borandell9915 My first two orders were 1147 and 1155. Wel literally ordered around the same time. I still have 3 more orders on the way. My last B300S just arrived a few minutes ago. It was order 3101. This is my modular unit. I still have a whole DIY to build out. I don't know if you were in the discussion page. I don't recall the name. You probably saw me in the discussion if you were there. My name is Jerry.
I find it kind of funny that nowhere on their website dose it state how many cycles do you actually get from this power station. Why would they not put that unless there trying to hide something.
I find it kinda funny that you watched all the ps70 videos out there, and took the time to read all the comments i wrote, only to end up in this comment section to respond back letting me know that you read all my comments. Your obsessed with me aren’t you. That’s about as creepy as Joe Biden sniffing a little girls hair as he runs his fingers through it on live tv.
I was hoping LFP, but Bluetti support told me "Ternary lithium battery". Not as long lasting, but higher output for weight. They also are not as thermal event (read: fire) proof as LFP.

I thought that cycle rating was high as well, but it is what they told me.

It seems like a solid machine. And if you could snag it for $99, it’s even better
@@B_Rogers0724 I'm a junkie for these things. I bought 5 of them. lol
@@borandell9915 that’s awesome

@@DeyBwah My thinking exactly. 👍👍
Well done. I can't wait I won one in their livestream back on 9/25......hope it will arrive soon so I can put it through its paces as well.
Helpful overview. Thanks, bro!
What is meant by AC500 add on?
Nicely done my man!!! 🤘🤘
Thanks, waiting for mine to arrive 🙂
It’s a great add on
Did you order this with the AC500 campaign? Just curious since I'm still waiting on mine. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the review.
I'm still waiting on it also.

Can I charge it from my truck bed 400w inverter?
What bluetti portable solar panel can you use to charge it? Like a 100w portable solar panel
Up to 200 watt panels. But you can charge it with both AC and a solar panel up to 400 watts total.

I find it kind of funny that you have commented the same thing on everyone's ps70 video. You are obsessed with this aren't you?

Wouuld you list the specs for it? Does it have LifePo4 batteries or some other type?

www.poweroak.com/product/500w-720wh-portable-solar-power-station-ps70/
Power Oak = Bluetti parent company.
The charge time is quite long. Takes almost 7 hours to fully charge it.
False. 720wh/170w input = 4.2 hours from completely empty to full. Possibly 4.5 hours when it dials down the charge rate nearing 100%
can it charge with solar? How much?
Yes. Will make a solar video this weekend
It says 200 watts with 12-45volts.
The PS70 is not even splash-proof. I don't see myself taking it anywhere outdoors.
The only power station brand with any sort of waterproof rating is montek. This is on par with industry standards.
