Watch as I unbox and briefly test the new SP120 solar panels. Considering I had complete cloud coverage and it still picked up some wattage is pretty amazing. Great quality, high powered cells, and great craftsmanship all lead to an awesome product.
Bluetti EB70 12v Refrigeration Test
Просмотров 21 тыс.3 года назад
Running the EB70 on my Dometic CFX3 75DZ on refrigeration temps only. Having to cut this test short, it still ran it at 41 hours. At 41 hours, the average wattage used is 17w/hour so it was actually a little less given the fact that there was still battery left in it. What an amazing little unit.

Very impressed with how the EB70 handled and ran my 12v refrigerator. This was a controlled, indoors test. Test results: 32-34 hours (had to stop the test due to the timing), 20-22 watt usage per hour.

I forgot perhaps the most important part - the lithium iron phosphate battery chemical composition and 2500 battery life cycles! Will this be a solution for home back up? No, it can’t handle that. But it may just be the perfect off grid, camping, light duty power stations out there!

    The Bluetti says it’s only rated for 700 watt solar input so if you have 1500 watts of solar panels is that to much input? And at 2:16 you say your gonna wire it up in series parallel. Is it series or parallel wiring?

    • @B_Rogers0724
      @B_Rogers0724 Год назад

      It’s series parallel. 3 panels in series and each set of panels is wired together in parallel for 1500w and about 95v. Bluetti will disregard extra wattage and amperage while keeping the input at 700w. The volts is the important aspect as going over on the voltage limit will damage a bluetti. It’s called “over paneling” and very common.

    Bluetti specifically said "about 1000 cycles" for the battery in the AC500 Indiegogo discussion. That's less than half what was mentioned here. Either Bluetti is saying different things to different people, or the reviewer had an oops. Either way, I appreciate this review and showing the unit! Thank you! Unfortunately, Bluetti has not replied to repeated inquiry for what the charge percentage will be after the "about 1000 cycles". The Terenary battery (what this is according to Bluetti) is typically down to 60-70% at 800-900 cycles. They also are a lot more prone to catching on fire than Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries that most people prefer. The advantage is higher energy capacity for less weight and cost.
