Ford 555 flywheel torque plate and torque converter

I normally fit the converter on the pump and mesh it in, then mate the engine with the transmission and fit all the bolts thru the starter hole, never had I an oil leak from the front of the pump.

Those output shaft ears get sloppy and shear off
