Having a tractor or backhoe makes life possible, doesn't it? So valuable to have. We just completed out backhoe rebuild and are now using it to clear our land.
looking to get an old JD backhoe to do stuff around the house and plow snow in the winter. I was wondering how it would do being only 2wd but you old Ford doesn't see to have any issues pushing lots of snow. Beautiful machine, thanks for sharing!
Hi Brodie and Ada, no problem at all with traction, I don't even chain the rear wheels up... if I ever slip a little too far in to the ditch and find my rear unable to gain traction I just use the backhoe to give me a little push and away it goes again. Best old rusty tractor I have ever purchased. thank you for stopping in.

@@solarbrianyvonne Unless you're going to take it down the road at 30 mph, front wheel bearings don't mean a thing. Both of my front bearings are black as the ace of spades. Front wheel wobble is probably king pins and that really doesn't matter either. It's not high speed machinery that requires a good front end. As long as it drives decent, let it ride.

I've got a ford 2000 utility tractor 3 cyclender gas it does well like your video

How does the backhoe perform in mud?
no trouble at all ... I was just in the mud last week , if I get stuck I just pull myself out with the hoe
