Even though I see areas to improve on I am still very happy with my and Antrix performance. Considering it was our first live battle I think we killed it ;)
I respect your opinion when it comes to my first round. I feel like I am in the middle of being a second device looper and a one device looper because I enjoy making complex sounds and harmonies with my hx, but I also enjoy doing more "simple" stuff with just the loop and my voice itself.
In the end everyone has their own opinion and preferences like with this battle. I would have been so happy for Antrix if he won and he definitely deserved it aswell.
But people often forget that the sound they hear in the video is NOT the sound everybody experienced live. It's just two completely different things.
Anyway thank you for your kind words and maybe you wanna come to berlin for the main event? :)

After seeing this, Antrix became my favorite looper until now. He is incredible, so fkin crazy… I listen to his compilation every day
What i love with Antrix rounds is his unique style - and the drops ^^
But what i mean is his bringing back voice-samples, the variance he brings into his sounds by voice - the filter use - and the DJ quality he brings in.
I recommend also watching antrix vs Kaos. That was a battle on the same level as the one here.

Cant wait for reaction!The amount of times I've seen this battle since it came out is countless lol this was for both of them first live event cos they only participated in on line battles and it came out sick! For me so far its the best loop battle of the 2022. We still have german main event ahead in 3 weeks or so😏 can't wait to see what they prepared. Also what will Kaos and Slether bring to the table cos they are great too! And worth checking!
Antrix and Syjo are for now the loopers I listen the most and definitely will stay in my top 4 for long time. They are incredible and both are hella talented. Both are making awesome tunes and Syjo and his voice is just beyond (those high notes!). The emotions he brings ! Just Wow. Antrix is building up the atmosphere that's out of this world . His second round is one of my favorites. Absolutely love what he does. Incredible final. 🤯
For me they are Totally different styles (I'm no musician whatsoever) and I love both equally. Definitely gbb level. And hope to see them on big stage in 2023. They both have huge potential to destroy it 😁

1st Brez i gotta ask. What happen to your "LETS MAKE A SONG TOGETHER " segment you were dong a while back....2nd In the first round i give it to Antrix for real that was fire...Not gonna lie Syjos first round didnt impress me at all however his 2nd round blew my mind i wasnt expecting that.....But for me overall ANTRIX took the whole thing and the looping world just leveled up with this new group of loopers emerging.... My opion of best battle of all time was Saro vs. MB14 2017
the live sound of antrix was inferior to SyJo. on vid id still give it to SyJo but much closer than live.
I enjoyed the video and i love it.
Both of these guys are abselute monsters! all 4 rounds are insanely good and well made, however Antrix 2nd round is out of this world, ive been waiting for a looper to create that kind of psytrance sound and on top of that execute it to perfection! big ups to both of ya, GBB seems to get more and more packed with crazy talent and insane sounds! Esh!

Do you think GBB would change the time to 4 or 5 minutes? I've seen so many tracks that would be AMAZING as longer songs. The second rounds are nuts, and those kinds of rounds make me glad I'm not a judge that has to pick.

from my Pov (means only with the video, and not experienced live) Antrix wins.
Both have a really similar level technically, originality, sound design, both are extremly creative.
But when they come to use vocals, I think Antrix vocals sound cleaner during this battle.
And that's also a bit of personal taste, I identify myself more with Antrix vibes.
When I listen to this battle without watching at the video, my head moves on the beat with Antrix's, but I pay less attention to Syjo's.

You already modulated , quantized , chopped , oscilared, pitch shifted on and on ... sequencing is about as cheaty as everything you did anyways, its just convinient.
