Saw freckled Zelda wear these and I have a upcoming ren fest and I was thinking how fun they would be a cute wig I have for my ren fest thank you for the video.
Woot! I swear you are psychic. Anytime I think about something I wish I knew how to do or how to make, here you are with just the video I need. I even just bought some 20 gauge wire last weekend. Kismet.
Oh, thanks! This will be so useful for Water Tribe hairstyles!
This is a really good idea...it would never have occurred to me even though I see lots of people in London with beads I never actually thought "oh I can make them out of wire" sometimes you just need someone to show you how it's done. I use all the techniques making jewellery and really it should have been a natural thing to do but I just needed someone like you to show me. I will doubtless have my hair beaded all summer now..thanks again for waking me up lol!
I had the exact same rings in high school. Now i can make some new ones, had no idea the technique is so easy!
Omg, this is fantastic! This actually solves a cosplay problem I've run into - thank you so much for sharing Siobhan! :D
Thank you for this video! The beads you show here are so cute! Definitely going to try to make them tomorrow!
This is such a wonderful video. I am so glad I found it. So many ideas and inspiration for my hair!!
Ah, this is one of those looks that I would love to try if I felt I was cool enough to be able to pull it off!
You're already cool enought ^-^ It might give off a different vibe on you than on someone else, but that's your own look and aesthetic. Own it because it's you, it's unique, and it's beautiful
Aw, you!!!
I did it!!!! It's so awsome!!! It's REALLY EASY to make and it looks beautiful!!
This is AWESOME!!! I love it so much. I always wanted to buy some but now I can do it myself. Please continue sharing this superamazing DIY-Ideas with us
awesome video.. quick and easy to understand! Thank you! will definitely try this!
These are Etsy Gold! So cute!
thank you for showing how to put the beads in hair. I could not figure out how to do that.
I did this a couple of weeks ago after seeing evidence from Hallstatt period graves in my archaeology class. I made a few big ones in copper as well as very tiny ones to put on the ends of little plaits. I find that when I put them over those little clear elastics and then tighten them by twisting they stay firm for several days. I haven't tried with beads yet though, because of no archaeological evidence :) But I will certainly try it out now!
Could you elaborate on how you twist them to make them stay? did you tighten the wire somehow around your hair?
I did, I just twisted the coil tighter by the two spiraled ends, the small one stayed in great like that. If you have trouble with them falling out, use tiny clear elastics underneath or backcomb a bit. Hope this helps :)
+Veerlejf thanks for getting back to me. I'll give it a try!
Que bonito....me encantó ..gracias
Thank you very helpful and it works
Great job, thanks for the video
Oooh wonderful idea! The wire I have is sadly not thick enough but I've been thinking of how to make hair beads so this is useful ^^.

Angel Face lol Maybe braiding some cool ribbon into your hair is more curl friendly??

I like swirls in my beads, but they always catch other strands.
Cute but definitely not cosplay more like box braids
