My mother talk about Corks Pit when I was a boy in the fifties, there was another Camp at the Footscray end of Rectory Lane, I vaguely remember, I believe it was a brick field, but they must have been moved on, as the pit was filled in, it would be nice if there was a bit history like Corks pit, the photos are fabulous, especially the children, really touching.
