@@cotontop3 yeah I just started looking into compressors I also need the high psi looks like id need a tank regardless so currently looking at other alternatives. Thanks
@@MrSuperchargedv8 I think the max pressure is 145 and we had to put a tank on this one which defeats the whole purpose of going with one of these. Worst problem is the air freezing and it doesn't have to be that cold either. They make a air heater thing for it but its a complicated install and just not worth it.
Bought a G-30 for my welding rig to arc gouge off of it’s got 11 hours on it have nothing but trouble out of it wish I had my ingersoil rand back I’ve called company twice finally got compressor and tool in Tupelo to work on it worked good for about a day now it’s blowing compressor oil everywhere
Only problem I've had with them not running thru a tank....screw compressor...as in my Miller airpack....they make ALOT of water..nice compressor though might get one to put on another truck didn't know they made one that small..

It don’t shut off, no air will flow. We had to put a tank with ours to fix it. Also it doesn’t go all the way to 175 psi and I know ppl say air tools only need 90 psi but we really need 175. It’s a well built compact good idea but for us it’s just ok and not great.
I like it. Compared to a normal good gas air compressor 2stage that has a high output. Is this one worth the extra money. Obviously the size with no tank is awesome. Good luck yal in 2021 from NC! Keep ON keeping ON

I’ve driven some service trucks with the Vmac engine mounted air compressor they will make lots of air but they made a lot of moisture as well. We had to put a heat exchanger on to cool the air down and knock the moisture out so our air tools wouldn’t freeze up on us in the winter.
Tim, I saw an article about a new drone law "Remote ID" that's coming. Will that effect you any? I might add that I know nothing about drones. Only saw the article and thought about you.
What's the max psi it makes without a tank?
It’s not enough. I don’t recommend it, especially if you’re in a cold climate.

vmac makes some nice stuff almost the same quality level as ingersoll rand but for way less money
You know these unit Runs for 5K. They see Not cheap.

We have a belt driven vmac on a truck at work. Works great, but we have had issues with what they had to move for it on the engine.
Thinking of putting this on a service truck for commercial tires. What are your thoughts after running it for the first year?

When I was locked up everyone put hot chocolate in coffee some even crushed up peppermint in it as well

They can't be making any moisture than any other compressor that's just physics. Unless it's a higher psi compressor maybe

It affects everybody. Doesn't affect anybody flying stuff under 250 grams yet, but it will eventually.
I agree with the G30, those idle hours are hard on the new diesel motors
