Thanks so much for taking me flyin' Lost family suddenly, derailed plans to fly. But I fly with you! Let's get you 1 million! Eventually. Love you celebrate 6k when few do! Gift of flight is immeasurable!
Such kind words - than you. I am sorry for your loss indeed 😔. It makes me happy that I can bring some joy to people with these videos. Numbers don't mean a great deal to me to be honest but comments like yours do. Thank you for watching 🙏
Congrats👍😊💜✌️ Well done with your business too - did I remember correctly that your training to be an instructor as well?🤔 Good luck with that too💜✌️👍😊 Helos are remarkable, I've had a couple of flights/goes and they're great fun😄👍 Thanks for taking us along, not easy all the filming and editing, so it's appreciated. Good to see the walk around checks, and those acronyms (I'd not heard those before) etc too👍😊 1400 fpm! That is amazing, like a rocket!!👍✌️😄
Thank you! I got half way through my instructors rating and my FI(C) instructor had to stop flying due to a detached retina. Left me in a pickle really but I am hoping to get it finished late 2023 / early 2024. The availability of the other FI(C) instructors is the issue and they are a rare breed! Less than 10 in the country I think!
That is wonderful and just think, it is just starting really. Many years of growth ahead! Always a like, and a word for the stats. I did wonder what line of work you were in, great idea I must say! I stopped over to look at the site and there you were all smiles Nick Buckley, Director. Well done. Thanks for the ride, be well.
Thanks so much Mike! It was a rough couple of years to begin with and a steep learning curve but it's starting to pay off for sure. Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words.
Congratulations on reaching 6k! Watching your videos has rekindled my childhood interest in aviation. I'm now seriously considering doing my national ppl. I like it how you leave in the mistakes, it is very honest. Keep up the good work 🙂
Thank you! Comments like this make it all worth it! It takes hours to put one of these episodes together but the aim is to share the joy of flying and bring a little bit of positivity to aviation RUclips so thank you for taking the time to comment and you should definitely book yourself a trial lesson!
Some people go to the Gym or Run, or even taken the Dog for a walk before work, Then there is Nick who goes FLYING before work 😅. Congrats on 6k subscribers, you definitely hit 10k before year end . Fantastic work, and definitely love the behind the scenes footage 👍. Well done on the helicopter 🚁 lessons , Good Luck 🤘
Ha ha ha ha it is a bit wacky isn't it! I won't be making a habit of that either - I was exhausted by the end of the day! Thanks so much for your loyal support and I am glad you are still enjoying the vids!
Hi Nick, just wanted some information if you don’t mind regarding the Nynja. Wondering what power settings and speeds do you use ? Best climb , cruise climb / Decent etc . Thanks
Thanks Dale! It is challenging but I am enjoying it! It is definitely nothing like how I imagined it as kid. I never knew back then about "vortex ring" or how difficult it was to hover!
Thanks Roger! So sorry I couldn't stop at Popham - I was absolutely exhausted and I had pizza on my mind! Thank you for tuning in sir. I will check your video out later.
Hi, you know when a man is enjoying him self , two or more jerry cans in the boot of his car , to much for a lawn mower . Thanks for your videos and regards to the ladies . Well done on the 6k . 👍
Puts a smile on my face every time! My first flight in NIIX in ages today due to weather and the take off roll and climb rate really caught me off guard!
@@LetsGoFlying My aircraft is a Swift II (80HP). The biggest smile on my face when I take off and climb on my own. This Sunday, I get to remind myself how much fun it is! :) Love your videos and keep up the good work!! Haven't flown in a Ninja yet, but have the chance to do it soon. One just left Paul to Ireland so he'll bring me for a spin soon. Looking forward!
Congratulations on how your channel is developing! You truly deserve it! 🥳🎈 Good luck with the PPL(H), any aviation experience can only positively contribute to your skill & knowledge set 👍🏼
i never knew that aircraft financing was a thing, I'm working towards my ppl within the next 2 years so ill definitely be looking into your business as I buy my first aircraft
Thanks Ryan! Yes - it is definitely a thing! I have helped a lot of people buy their first aircraft which is always really satisfying so definitely do get in touch when you are ready. Thanks for tuning in!
Well done Nick 6k is awesome really deserved as well. Heli student as well, all that money you've been saving by flying microlights you're now going to blow on an egg-beater 🤣 We have to do something together in the summer.
Thanks Terry! I caught your latest earlier - very well put together and made a lot of sense. Answered a lot of questions I had too. I watched it on the TV which is why I’m a bit rubbish at commenting sometimes so apologies for that! Egg beater 🤣 love it! I’m a whole 3 hours in so far and enjoying it. Very challenging but my learning capacity seems well suited to it so it’s very rewarding! Yes we must indeed do something in the summer. I keep saying “as soon as the weather gets better” but it just seems to be perpetually rubbish at the minute! We seem to be getting the April showers now (in May!) too! Hopefully we will have a longer summer into October with a bit of luck! I’m desperate to spread my wings and do some touring but the weather windows are just too poor or too small to plan anything like that at the minute!
Nick there are many fellow pilots and armchair pilots who enjoy your videos, or will when they discover this channel. You keep posting and we'll keep watching. You've answered a question which I asked to one of your other videos. How do you find using Pilot Aware on your tablet? Looked like a very therapeutic flight.
Very kind comment - thank you! I love Pilot Aware on the iPad. I run it through SkyDemon and it shows traffic overlayed on the map. Super useful but have to keep using the Mk 1 eyeball as well of course!
Hey, I live in Cheshire (Staffordshire boarder side) and wondered where you learned to fly. Recently started looking into it and it seems a bit cheaper than I ever thought so been looking at somewhere near Nantwhich (about 20 min from me). Really fancy it!! Cheers sir
Hi Ian, many thanks for watching! I learned with Cheshire Microlights who are now owned by Micro Aviation who have a base at Darley Moor and at Dairy House Farm near Crewe. My old instructor, John, still teaches from Dairy House Farm. If it’s something you want to do and it’s an achievable goal then I don’t think you will have any regrets! It’s the best thing I’ve ever done!
Hey Nick! Love your channel! I love maps and have found at least six Ashcrofts in the UK. Could you narrow it down for me a bit? I still want to search for your place but without being in the wrong area! Thanks!
I wanted to watch your building process for the Nynja but it seems to have stopped at episode 7…. How many hours did it take to complete and make airworthy? Thanks
Hi Paul - I am not sure as I didn't fit them but I will have a look. If I forget to get back to you then ask me again in the next video and I will tell you for sure!
Thank you and thanks for watching! I changed from the eurofox mainly because I couldn’t get on with the flaperons on final. I just couldn’t get the level of “feel” I needed to be comfortable. Some planes suit people differently and I do prefer something a little more draggy like the Nynja! Eurostar was lovely though and I’ve nothing against it - it was my issue as opposed to the aeroplanes! Cockpit space was very similar but I would say the eurofox has the edge on luggage space!

It's near Winsford, Cheshire
Yes - what John said! It is near Winsford in Cheshire next to a little village called Wettenhall.
Congrats on the 6k. Really enjoy watching you fly the Nynja. How different does it handle without a second person?
What happened to the build series? I’ve seen number 8, did you record any more?
There is an update episode where I explained what happened but basically due to certain world events I chose to have it finished as a factory build.
I wanted to watch your building process for the Nynja but it seems to have stopped at episode 7…. How many hours did it take to complete and make airworthy? Thanks
