He comprado Bose QC Ultra; JBL Tour Pro 2; AirPod Pro 2 (esos ya los tenía), TechnicsAZ80E y Denon PerL Pro. Hoy he pasado el día comparándolos, estuve en un principio un par de horas configurando el AZ80 y Denon PP, intercambiando almohadillas para conseguir la mejor sujeción y aislamiento y finalmente me quedo con los Denon PerL Pro. Tiene todo lo que necesito en cuanto a sonido, el que mas se le acerca es el AZ80 y se queda detras por muy poco (tan poco que aveces dudo si hay alguna diferencia). Mi primera impresión al usarlos es que no servían para nada pero hay que tomarse el tempo de configurarlos y adecuar las almohadillas correctas y en el momento menos pensado todo te estalla en la cabeza!! Los recomiendo con los ojos cerrado, eso si, tomaros el tiempo de ponerlos a tono. Valen la pena 100 %.

💯 I went thru the same situation and yes I agree. The Denon PP are louder than the technics and the immersion in acoustic is like the Bose the only thing superior in the technics it’s the transparency mode but I don’t really use it too much.

I don't know if you mentioned what phone you're using and if you did, I missed it, but there are VERY few phones that support aptX Lossless and if you're using Apple, you're not even getting aptX Adaptive. I think their best is AAC. I'd like to know which codec was decoding the music you were listening to.
Oof. That’s a great point. Honestly I did not think about that. I’m on an iPhone so no I suppose was not getting aptX Lossless.
@@lukerestlessstudiosI'm about to switch from iPhone to Google Pixel 8, and I emailed their support to ask, since it's not in their tech specs, and the best they have is aptX HD, and LDAC. which are both pretty high res, so I'm not sure how much diff aptX Lossless would actually make. iPhone has nothing but crappy AAC. They even removed access to all other Bluetooth codecs except AAC from Macs with macOS Ventura FFS. Good luck with waiting on Apple to decide to improve it, rather than hobble it. Behaviour like this, is exactly why I'm dumping the iPhone, I'm over it. And I've waited for Black Friday sales, and there's a decent price drop already, making the Pixel a good chunk better value for money than iPhones.
I'm pretty sure, it's going to be the quality of the drivers in the Perl Pro that make it sound so great. Plus the quality of the recording and file format.

Would love to get these *Denon Perl Pro* earbuds, but that price. . _.ouch._ I may be able to get them using *Affirm* financing (approx $32/mo for 10 months). But may need to refine those elements you noted first. But sound quality and battery life are my two prime priorities.

Thank you! They are in the top tier of their category for sound quality. Not night and day better than everything else but certainly among the best if not the current best by a little bit.
What about the call quality? Can people hear you clearly even with above average noise in background?
I wouldn’t it call it head and shoulders better than everything else, but when I called a few friends and compared against the AirPods, they said the PerLs sounded clear to them.
I have the USB-C AirPods Pro and they were good but I just picked up the Bose QC Ultra buds and they are better. I am an addict and may buy these too.

Have you tried the Status Between 3ANC's? If so, thoughts?
I just bought the status Between 3 ANC! And they have the best musical separation and sound stage I heard on Bluetooth. You can hear every individual instruments!
I highly recommend the buy if you enjoy listening to a wide range of music of different genres.
The Denon in my Opinion has a FULLER sound compared to the Between 3 ANC. Especially the immersion mode slider.
I have the 3ANCs as well and I love them! I tend to listen to a whole variety of different types of music. Anything from Tears For Fears to Van Halen.
I'll have to save up and get my hands on the new Denon's.

On my test the Denon are better than the XM5 ANC and probably 5% under Apple and Bose, correct tips and initial ears setup are crucial for the Denon but the only weakness is transparency / Social mode.
What do you think about the Denon Perl vs the Pro? The regular Perl is about $200 cheaper. Is the Pro worth the upgrade?
I believe it is. Lossless (CD Quality) Bluetooth (one of the first to do so I believe), better drivers, bone conductive microphones (these are sweet), the spatial audio feature (not night and day amazing but worth mentioning), 2 hours of extra battery life, and wireless charging.
