These are the Zep tunes I treasure. Everybody knows Dazed, Stairway, Levee and others...but these not so well known tracks on Physical Graffiti are nothing short of awesome.
This is about the 5th Zepperella Vid Ive just watched and yes there are many different singers. Ive enjoyed all of the videos of these chicks rockin out to the Mighty Zeppelin !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rockfest is in Cadot Wisconsin on the 3rd weekend in July, Thursday through Sunday, and if, on the following Monday, you can remember who all the bands (if any) that you saw, without looking at the tee-shirt, I salute you!!! ;)
I bought "Physical Grafiitti" when it first came out. This was and is one of my favorites from that record. Gretchen is amazing on that Danelectro, same guitar Jimmy used on that song.
Magnificent performance! I'm so GLAD I found you Ladies ROCK solid. I dig the unison you reflected. A lot of appeal, hard song to perform. One of my all time faves. I'm sold on you Ladies. Amazing! The Lady that plays the electric, wow that electric slide is wild. The Misses vocals, performance and the Bassist. I need to take a cold shower, very hot rock and roll
I think im in lust with the drummer! I LOVE how she beats the living shit out of that kit, really enjoying herself and shes closer to bonhams heavy sound than iv heard anybody else (and yes im very well aware of how mch depth and subtlety bonham and the band had to go along with the awesome thunderous power)
I don't follow this group and don't know the ladies name, but the singer that sings with this group on the song "when the levee breaks" does a FANTASTIC job with her vocals. This group would do great with that line up, with that line up they have achieved a GREAT "tribute band" !!!

Its very hard to play bass and sing like that. I may be wrong but I looked at some of the other songs and the bass player is gone.

it's so awesome to see chicks who are truly superior at what they do musically and are getting attention because of that...there are a lot of female drummers, guitarists, bands, etc who are good, not great but get attention just because they're female and you KNOW for a fact that if they were dudes no one would give a fuck...that definitely doesn't apply here...these chicks deserve any recognition they get and we need more of that
The momentum of this is just unstoppable, it has that forward tilt into the beat that Zep aimed for, without seeming strained ..... I put any faults down to the wrong sound balance or equipment. Lord, Gretchen really nails that slide. And you have to admit Noelle's curls and curves resolve all the uneasy feelings you used to get when watching Robert .....
Drummers don't bash other drummers. She is doing great job on a tough song. Who cares if she doesn't do exactly what was played in the original, thats not the point of playing a song, you gotta take it and make it your own.
***** Tribute bands are meant to honor original members and approximate the original songs at high quality. They do not include original members of the band. Unless you saw Jimmy Page up there? I didn't. By the way, if you watch Bonhams videos, he never played his songs the exact same as the original that you would hear on the radio. During live performances he took the song and ran with it, improvising along the way.
Tribute bands play the songs the way they are meant to be played not just a 'cover' of the song. Wtf are you bringing Jimmy Page into this, doesn't make sense.....
Agree with those saying the problem is with the soundboard...needed to bump up the vocalist's mic a bit more. It should be noted though that on an off night live, even Plant would get a bit lost underneath the sheer volume coming out of Page and Jones.
very good interpretation . the bass player gets overlooked but she is pretty good and so damn attractive. this is probably their best song especially the guitar and drums.
Guitarist screwed up the 5:39 sections playing the wrong notes technically page is a ring finger slide to be able to play chords on there not just slide it’s all fucked in that section

She probably held some notes a nanosecond too long, possibly using the wrong gauge strongs and different setting on the amps. So what ! Don't be so sad, just enjoy the performance . You might find you enjoy life more.
Danelectro again :) :). Love the way the lead guitarist improvises and adds her own flavor and mood not afraid to stray from the record or old performances just like Jimmy would. Very fresh.
Soooo...cool...four women playing Led Zeppelin so very well. You would never consider that. In my opinion...what is so appealing is they play LZ with accuracy...they are female...and they are attractive talented females. I have seen LZ two times in my past and I saw the Plant-Page tour (twice) in '94. Not looking at their physical beauty...these women are very good musicians. I'm sure they would honor that compliment more than any other compliment about their looks. There are other LZ tribute bands...these women are special...and they are good.
Im pretty sure the clip is off a phone hence the bad audio mix but yeah the lead singer reminds me of those robotic register chicks giving me a greeting thats totally automated. Sings like she has given 2 weeks notice but has to show up for the job. Drummer is AMAZING.
