THe very best version of this song that I think ive ever heard came from a totally unexpected band. Back in the late 90s early 2000s I was doing tape trading with various people around the globe that were all recording concerts live . This was way before you had anything you could dream of via RUclips. In had done a trade with a guy from Germany and he included a tape of a Skew Siskin concert from Munich from around 1999 ? . Among their other songs was a medley that was just off the charts . Its was Voodoo child into Im a Man {Spencer Davis Group } into Whole Lotta Love and then back out through the beginning tunes. She was using the most insane echo/reverb that just worked so well with her voice but the other players were also crazy good on this tape. . It was only an audio tape and I really wish I had the video . Nothing like it !
This dame plays with real feeling unlike the plethora of young female guitar whizzkids who are now emerging. Its not about how fast you can play but how you play fast.

Instead of using a theremin, Gretchen used a sliding pick technique along with the echo. Nice way to deal with that without dragging along a theremin for one tune.
She is a fantastic guitarist! Her personal stuff is so different than I expected after watching all her Zeparella vids - really mesmerizing. A serious talent!❤
I mentioned that in a post at the Zepparella Facebook Page, and Gretchen herself replied that she doesn't set the theremin up when there is a small stage, like this show at The Dip. Incidentally, this is the show I was at!

I saw these ladies this past Thursday night, and talked to each of them after the show..I was initially drawn to Gretchen for the obvious reasons, but honestly Anna stole my heart...I love all of them, but Anna has a lead...beautiful and highly talented ladies inside and out...!!!
This chic singing is my favorite. I don't know her name but she's the one I prefer. The bassist is cool too. And Gretchen is very good guitarist. I love Zepparella. These girls rock.
