Great tutorial. I watched it even though i use streamlabs obs. I tried to use obs studio but it freezes on me mid-stream a lot. At least if i ever go back to studio i know what to do for amazing light controlled channel points 👍👍👍

Is it too late to ask a question here? Might be silly but can you select white as a colour without premium. I want to set up a flash bang effect alert.
Tbh I don't recall a white color option in the free colors. You can try clicking on "add color" and see if that option is there, but if it's not you'd probably have to pay for premium to get it 🤣
after 10 hours of research trying to get my DMX lightsetup on Twitch channel points, this video gave me the final solution. I didn't knew that liorianboard can do not only OBS Shortcuts, it can do system keyshortcuts as well!!! But not in the command tab, its another choice of the drop down menu.... I would have never had a look on that.... this tip was a life safer! Thanks a loooooooooooooooot!!!!
I think they must have updated Lumia. I have it so that chat redemptions can trigger my lights. Though I did pay for Lumia Premium, so maybe that's why. Point is I actually don't need LioranBoard for this.
Yeah lumia actually commented and said they made the change cause of me lmaooo, so at least the video was good for something. I'm leaving it up just incase others need a work around. Thanks for the update though!
Well to break it down, Lumia Stream is the program communicating with your lights. Lioran board is simply using the hotkeys that you set up in Lumia, so it is not directly connected to your lights. Hope that helps!
I got my other issue working but I have one big issue. I can't get the channel points to work and I'm not sure why. I can control the lights with the hotkeys and the test button in Lumia Stream but nothing in chat works. Everything is spelled/capitalized the same in all programs. I'm stumped.
@@MikeLoomis yeah not sure how you would trigger it across a 2 pc set up. I'm sure there might be a program that could allow for hot keys to trigger on a secondary pc, but that's something I personally haven't explored. Gl tho!

Yesterday I ran through your tutorial and everything worked, but today when I start Lioranboard Receiver nothing happens. It looks like it tries to load with the blue spinning circle for half a second and then nothing. Any ideas?
Thanks! I use the Blue Ember with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface. I will warn you that getting a shock mount for the Ember was quite difficult because of its thinner profile, so just keep that in mind! But otherwise a great entry level mic so far.
lumiastream.com/ has a list of compatible brands. I personally use lifx led strips, but if I choose again I'd probably get lifx led beams. Hope that helps!
I have the beams, so far my experience with lifx has not been so great one of them was faulty and they are no help in replacing it so its basically been a ton of money wasted
The version of Lumia Stream in this video is not the up-to-date version since it has been some time. If they made updates to their interface it may be in a different section. Hope that helps!
this is great, but for some reason it only seems to work for me when im alt-tabbed out of a game .. if anyone has this issue ill reply below to see if i fix it. thanks for the tutorial! was nice and easy to understand.
So if you have hotkeys bound in a game, that are the same as the hotkeys you bound to your lights, it might conflict when issuing commands. Lumia did say they updated their free version to include channel points so you can actually skip the lioran board set up and just configure the channel point rewards within lumia itself and that might help! :)

@@NeroZYN of course! Some applications are just weird about key binds, so it might be just whatever game app you have running doesn't work well with the others. I'm sure you will be able to do it through lumia though! 😊

I figured it out! In Lioranboard in Twitch Triggers I still had the asterisk after the color name. I removed that and it works!
I spoke too soon! I can do it with my channel points when I test it but no one else seems to be able to make it work from other computers. Weird.

Hm that might be an issue with lioran board itself. I'd try to reinstall just incase!
