I love your new chairs. They perfectly complement the rest of the decor. Getting supplies to the top of the mountain and into the house looks challenging but all of you are definitely up to the task! It doesn't matter if it's concrete blocks in a wheelbarrow, bags of cement or sleeping bags, all of you work so cheerfully! (we could learn a thing or two from your family). The muffins look divine! I know it is a lot to ask but I would love to bake some, could you add the recipe? Swimming in the sea, lounging on the rocks with a gourmet picnic, foraging and berry picking in the mountain forest, and sipping wine on top of the world! The wood in the chairs is almost the exact finish as the table legs. The chairs are beautifully made. They suit the village much more than the modern plastic ones they replace.

What a charming village. I made a note to visit one day. Reminds me of the village of Vittoriosa in Malta, where my mother had a house back in the 1970s. The place looks exactly like that but we considered it ugly and uncomfortable. In yours I see beauty and charm!

What a beautiful outing and your village life that you’ve shared with us us. I love these little hidden beaches right along public transport routes. Foraging in the forest is very lovely. What a charming village. I made a note to visit one day. Reminds me of the village of Vittoriosa in Malta, where my mother had a house back in the 1970s. The place looks exactly like that but we considered it ugly and uncomfortable. In yours I see beauty and charm!

I'm so sorry you can't go to your own local beach and have to go elsewhere with your family. I so enjoy the south of France. I spent a few days in Grasse in 2018 and loved it! I will go back!
