Is there an Oscar category for RUclips grammar videos? I would like __________________ nominated for an Oscar for RUclips grammar videos. a. to nominate b. to be nominated What's the right answer?
You've used 2 deferent sentences for the gerund. can we change the same sentence? As follows I enjoy inviting people to my parties. people enjoy being invited to my parties.
Which is correct and why? The business meeting are to be held in the main room. Or The business meeting are taken place in the main room. Many thanks for the video.
First one is correct. the second one needs the active form of the verb. Probably present progressive. the business meeting is taking place in the main room.
Hi sir I am from india. I have a doubt about the PASSIVE GERUND. In ACTIVE GERUND , I AM THINKING ABOUT DRIVING CAR. But in the PASSIVE It is shown that I AM THINKING ABOUT BEING DRIVEN BY SOMEONE. [Is it correct? ] or can it be said that I AM THINKING ABOUT MY CAR'S BEING DRIVEN BY SOMEONE.
To get more subscribers, next time in your next video I hope you should give more elaborations or explainations about your topic everytime you answer the question there should be a reason for that so that your students or viewers can more understand your topic . Anyway thank you Sir , this topic helped me a lot keep it up 👏🏽
To swim is liked by me. ......but that sounds funny. I don't think you can form a passive sentence when the direct object is an infinitive. I have never heard that rule, but I like it.
I enjoy watching the teacher Dan's latest video.
Thank you.
Thanks Soshi.
this channel is to be given a award
