Kahneman is a brilliant man.
If we can make huge improvements in the efficiency of organizations, we are on the verge of a revolution similar to what Taylor and Ford did to production.
The problem lies in an organization in which the product is life and death. A lot of algorithms, such as staffing algorithms in healthcare, are applied sometimes to the detriment of patients and staff. While I understand the problem of noise in decision making, when primarily dealing with the very fundamental aspect of human care, sometimes algorithms just are not applicable.

Wonder if someone already found a way to do "something" about that?
I do not understand. The idea that we can make government and companies more intelligent is huge, but I do not see people talking about it. I hope Kahneman writes a book about this subject.
What does Kanehman mean by the word algorithm?
