What do you think about this engine? I've seen vídeos where another testers said about this engine that was noisy, rough and with bad performances....what's your opinion? Good test as always!!!!
I have a 2008 Bclass (B180) with 109 bhp and it's just as fast as this Kadjar. I believe that you'd like to test one of this. I recomend to you the "sport pack" units. It fits 17' alloy rings with an 215/45 tires and stiffer suspension.
Man, seems like I got too much inspiration from you by testing cars in a harsh way and I blew up my engine yesterday. Kidding, it ain't your fault. I jumped from 2nd (5000rpm) to 1st and the engine over reved and then I got a clanking from the engine with very little power. Most certainly something has touched inside, valves, pistons, whatever, need to get it checked out. And it ain't a shitbox, it is a octavia 3 2014 with a very sweet engine, 1.8 tsi 180. Damn, this is gonna be expensive. Hopefully not. So be advised that you can actually destroy some of these cars.
@@julii5228 Yeah, well, I already got used to what I did. I frankly still not believe I mis-shifted but more like something with the gear linkage or the gearbox is wrong on this car. Previous car (much older, from 2000) was spotless on this. 3rd gear was entering like it was made of butter. This one though didn't enter easily at full throttle and now I found out why. Cause it was (I guess, but we need to check) something wrong/misaligned in the gear linkage and it was selecting 1st gear instead of 3rd. the synchro mesh was actually doing its thing, since it didn't enter easily in the gear, but if you try hard enough it will... It will be another few weeks until the engine gets torn down, since my mechanic is in vacation now.

I don't know but I see that it's a poor engine because in the 6th gear you are in the 2K rpm and it's just on 100 kmh, with my qashqai 1.5 dci 110 hp it's in 125kmh

Dont feel too noisy, maybe little rough in higher drain.. Sufficient power for m size awd suv.
