I know you're big into their TMNT line, but I'm so glad you also cover NECA's other stuff. Their Turtle line is amazing, I love how in depth they've got but it's not for me, I just have no attachment to that property so I'm perfectly happy admiring it from afar. I'm big on their horror train, in fact it's what got me into collecting around 15 years ago.
That Universal Monsters collection is beautiful. The Bride and the Phantom just released here in the UK, can't wait to get my hands on them, but the Creature from the Black Lagoon is maybe my most anticipated, its such an awesome character design and NECA have gone above and beyond with it. Initially I was going to stop at the 'big seven' with the main icon monsters, but the Phantom and the other silent era characters look too good to pass up, plus I've just got a new shelf for that collection with plenty of space that needs to be filled, that Frankenstein and chair set will probably be the centerpiece for me. That line is quickly becoming my favorite thing NECA has ever done, I grew up with those classic monster movies and now they're blowing every prior figure of those characters out of the water.
Can't wait for the Feral Predator and the Dog form of the Thing too, so glad we're finally getting an actual Thing figure in the line. The Miner from My Bloody Valentine stole the show for me, never thought they'd actually do it. The 70's/80's horror icons somewhat have a Scooby Doo monster type appeal to me, I think that's why the Toony Terrors line works so well, and he's a prime example.
I wish we saw a glimpse at some Hammer stuff, but as it stands I'm more than happy with what they showed off so far.
More than anything, I'm actually the most excited for the glow-in-the-dark Dracula and Creature figures. Would be cool if they did Universal Monsters in the Toony Terrors line, too.
Everytime i see those Dinosaurs figures it makes hope NECA get The Muppets license one day. They look amazing.

Omg Elvira was in the Groundlings with Paul Rubens and put Pee-wee on the Naughty List. They are still friends to this day.

I’m excited for the Miner and Murphy. I know the body the Miner has is H2 ‘81 Michael and that is very sturdy and hefty! He deserves a good figure as that film has gotten much better reputation over the years
Murphy is already 50x better than “ultimate” Robocop because it’s a brand new sculpt while Robo was the ten year old figure with awful articulation. This will be much better.
Their re-issue Robo was a disaster. He should’ve been a brand new sculpt. Scale wise he’s smaller than he should be. Murphy will probably look bigger than Robo when next to each other.

My problem with the face swap is that sometimes the face is loose and falls off. I hope they fixed that. I had one Demona whose face kept falling off. I was lucky to find a second one that was better and sold the other.

Elkhorn is my first disppointment on the ultimate D&D line. The first four are flawless scaled up representations of the old figures. But even though the sculpt details and the colors profile on Helkhorn are almost spot on, it's the scale that I'm bothered with.
The original was the perfect dwarf. Small, slightly chubby, but robust none the less. You could have him being the runt of the bunch, but he still seemed like he could inflict some real damage!
He actually was more akin to a pygmy (which his sword with the red shrunk head as its pommel only went to give suspiscions of such).
This sculpt makes him look like a short guy- NOT a dwarf!
At least make him smaller than Zarak. Which he was, quite a bit, on the original line.
He's looking more like the dwarf in the Golden Axe line. But that one can afford to be bigger and butcher, as that is a beat'em up game.
PS- and if you going to do an alternate head, might just as well do one like Zarak- without the helmet.
I love detective Broadway but it's pretty grimey that it seems that's where his closed wings will come from. Lexington was supposed to come with closed wings and now it seems they changed their mind on that so that means Hudson will get a whole new figure like Broadway or some other small/ human character or even accessories pack will have his closed wings

Half way through the video I started thinking that it would be great if Neca got the licence for Pee-wee Herman (Playhouse, Big Adventure, whatever). Now I’m looking forward to hopefully having Cowboy Curtis facing down Large Marge on my shelf one day.

Terrible decision to stop making back to the future when it's nearly complete with part 3 needed. Can't stand companies not complete basic lines and against the whole point of collectible. Not everyone collects turtles and this is the weakest I've ever seen neca. Terrible showcase.
Neca looks beautiful always. But their articulation is atrocious! For that I never buy anything by them.
