I'm sure most people who purchase this are adult collectors who display & pose & all that, but can you imagine being a rich kid & having this to play with? Holy crap that would have been amazing! I remeber my friend having Castle Greyskullas a kid & I thought that was the best set ever, but this is like five times as big & scale to the figures. Unbelievable.
Man, this makes me wonder how big they would have made a Filmation Grayskull if they'd ever been given a shot at it. Would have dwarfed the Mattel version. That said though, this is just too big for me. I could accommodate another Snake Mountain sized playset, but the depth on this thing especially would pose problems for me setting it up almost anywhere, not to mention the issues of setting it up in a way I could actually rotate it to get access to the back.
Being the level with the "hatch" was the main doors in the show, if they weren't going to make that big enough for figures, they should have had a removable set of stairs you could put there to get a staircase up to the toys figures sizes doors

@@floorboss I dunno what parallel universe you warped in from, mate, but I assure you, the Thundertank and Snake Mountain (and every other huge multi-hundred dollar collector item from every toy company) were also essentially crowd-funded by pre-orders, like this set, dating back to 2013's MOTU Classics Castle Grayskull. Furthermore, every single previous huge collector piece -- be it from Super7, HasLab, Mattel Creations, whoever -- has previously had an ordering window of only around a month or so, and that's not enough time for the majority of collectors to budget for them. This one is up for TWICE that long. As for why the rush, I dunno. That's another "It's always been done that way" thing. Probably a manufacturing schedule thing.

I grew up with Thundercats, and the figures they make are great, and so is this set. But it's SO damn huge. It's obvious that it's simply made to scale with their figures, but damn. It is huge. But I guess the folks that can afford this monstrosity will also have the room for it. It would be quite a shame if nobody bought this ungodly thing.

nope. that HungerCats Cat's lair isn't big enough. because if it's the right size, it can fit the Hunger Tank in it's right paw. and they forgot to include a few liter boxes. i mean, they're cats, they need liter boxes.
