I will say this war the ammount of public stuff available on the colonial side has vastly increased so you don't have as many people logging off just because they lost the tank they spent all night grinding for and setting up
@@archanamaynard6108 our logi boys have been going nuts man. My small regiment has grinded out over 15 BT 8BTD 6 SPG and 2 SHT. And I’ve seen so many public tank crates it’s unreal. The hold a reavers and the subsequent wrapping of endless was just awesome and wouldn’t have been possible without our boys in the back going nuts. I’ve seen so many ppl with 6mil+ supply delivered it’s honestly impressive.

I must mention the crazy engagements that happened in Stonecradle. Especially outnumbered Spathas that stopped several Outlaws and a HTD in longfast 2 days ago

I will probably keep doing it as long as we have 3C rockets in stock. Its too much fun and is cheap for solo players.

"We also wanted them out of this hex." Note that capturing the last subregion triggers Border Bases spawning, which if unprepared hurts more than helps. There's been a LOT of problems on the Warden eastern front where small regiments or uncoordinated pushes by arbitrary folks see "one last sub region" controlled by colonials. They push -- and Colonials wait and let them -- and then they capture "the whole hex" but then when BoBers spawn these small regiments or random folks capture zero (zero!) of them! Colonials have been waiting, so they capture them all. Then colonials get bonus population in the hex (Invasion Bonus). Which is a better spot for colonials to be in, instead of a balanced queue when they just had 1 subregion. All in all it actually HURTS Wardens more than helps. I don't blame newbies and rookies for not knowing this mechanic, but it is in part why the "comeback" fronts have not been going well.
True! We did end up spawning the border base but looks like the Colonials have not mustered up any counter yet.
And yea in some cases the border base can make things worse rather than help :/ Thanks for your thoughts on this!
@@RobertLovesGames I have been on the process of getting the dev's to rework the border base mechanics and address the "zoo" problem.
The border hotel thing I did was primarily to get people to talk about border bases more, because often times people just don't think about how problematic border bases are for the game with their current function.
I've already talked with max mentioning why frontier bases were more useful than they might have realized, and mentioned the core problems with border invasions aren't solved by how the border base mechanic works, and there are much better solutions that the dev's have had in the game before in the past.
happens the other way too, even with multiple map posts pointing out what will happen. it seems to have gotten better in recent wars though

Hello again Robert, this is apper from the Allod's Bight video. I got a new PC and changed my name, but I was with that flanking tank crew at 7:20. If you hadn't killed that tank, our 2nd flank would have been found and crushed, and we wouldn't have retaken foxcatcher (temporarily). Always nice to run into people you've seen before

The only reason we managed to rip the conc apart out there is that NEP, 141CR, MSA and many other regi's all grouped up into on gigantic Coalition to set up a huge RSC base. The Op was so huge we both queued the frontline (60 queue peak) and the logi hex right behind (20 queue peak). It was insane being around at that moment. I did logi runs for at least 6 hours that day. I love when people come together to crack tough nuts
Ive been working back in Clanshead. It was like night and day after the colonial offensive. Everyone has been working so hard to push back and its awesome to see.

Then I saw on the map, Blue Vehicle markers on the North-Eastern border of Clashtra, heading towards Third Chapter, and then what happened there hours ago, was a good recreation of what happened in Villers-Bocage with the Tiger...
Wardens from the 6th pushed all the way back through vipers pit and into White Chapel a day ago- only to wake up and see we’d been pushed back to Kirknell lmao

If you don't think about the "meta" of the game to much and just go to the battlefield/fronts to have fun and be immersed in a war game it will feel like band of brothers a lot of the time.

We were pushed back from reavers pass in the East overnight. Lost almost a full hex. I was shocked when i logged back in. Now the last few days its been a solid defence at port of rime. Been a fun war this one.
Agreed! This last week was not good for us Warden's but hopefully we can reclaim some land this weekend!
I will give praise to Port of Rime for resisting our push so far.

Ngl, I prefer losing wars as strange as that sounds. Supply lines shorten and everything feels more desperate. Who doesn't love a good last stand? Even if we will probably lose, the Collies can't claim we didn't make them pay a high price for every inch taken.

This remembers me of that time I found some random guy and we took a push gun, it was (I think) the war before the naval update, I don’t remember the battle we were in, it was near a beach, with a broken bridge… the case is it was a I take it I lose it situation for both sides and I wanted to do something, the Colonials had complete control on both sides of the bridge so we fought for 20 minutes before finally taking them to the other shore, the next day we were on that shore, the next next day we had lost it all, it was extremely fun knowing I had done something, even if we didn’t get to do anything significant it meant more Colonial deaths, even if I just killed 10-15 they suffered thanks to all the other Wardens fighting, there was sniper duels on the night… amazing, we finally won after 5 days that territory and we were seeing advances in all fronts. N this is the Foxhole experience (that and me taking an hour to make an O’Brien and it getting mailed by a tankette the moment it got to the front).

I was part of the other Siege of Foxcatcher that happened yesterday as a sapper, aka Siege of Foxcatcher 4 or 5 or how many number of times we lost this town... we ain't ever strapin this place down but goddammit will I fight at east Foxcatcher till the end of the war.

Im fighting in a location right now as a colonial and we had 5 heavy tanks attack as and we only had granades not even at granades but we destroyed two and they retreated it ws awsome

I tend to shy away from building defenses for several reasons, 1. Im afraid I'll place it in a bad/useless spot 2. Im not sure how to properly build a trench in what configuration/shape to do it, 3. I always feel like there ought to be more players at the front even in night time to hold the enemy in place, too many builders might not be a good thing I dont want to be the builder that's one too many.
Thaht being said I'm 90% sure my fears are unjustified and I should try in greater earnest to build defenses. Ill try it next time it is night on the frontline
That's how I felt when I first started doing it as well. I just started building and let people tell me what I could do better honestly.
I don't think I've ever seen a front that had "to many" builders ha. Building up defenses helps so much during the night when combat has slowed down.
Do it! If you are still unsure about building on the front just ask someone around you or look for builder on the front and help them and watch and learn.
Every time i join foxhole again for another war after a break its always a losing war for me... 😢 Last 3 have been like this for me...
Losing wars can be some of the most fun wars! And this war is not over yet! Wardens can come back!

Yes their are regiments like that on both factions in Foxhole. There are actually quite a bit of regiments that solely focus on just tanks and tank combat.

Yep! Just takes a long long time doing it alone. And not a great idea to do on an active front like that one. Normally something you clean up after the battle is over.

We were fighting with 2 spatas on this battle, it was really cool.
The Warden push on the "right" side of the hills suprised us, and I think was the move that made the whole difference.
All the colo tanks went back and one after one went away because we knew that it was going to be lost.

Total noob here, thinking about buying the game after this war is over.
Why he doesnt use cover like the trenches to steady his aim and get some armor? Every video he is in the frontline, he runs in the open field. Maybe is a meta thing or that the cover mechanics are not worthy enough to bother, but it seems weird as someone who doesnt have hands on experience, just tutorial explaining usage of cover

Movement is king in Foxhole like 80% of the time. Especially when you constantly have artillery coming down or grenades coming in. Cover is a lot better at night than during the day. That's not the best explanation but a short one ha.
