I had a 2010 with the second to the top of the line performance trim. It didn't have the larger wheels or the massage seats, but it had the heated and cooled seats and all the other performance options. I drove it for over two years commuting from McLean Va to downtown dc daily. So I was constantly challenged by people in high line automobiles like porsches, maseratis, and top line audis, bmws, and lexuses. I rarely got beat off the line at traffic lights, and only a few cars were able to outrun me in a quarter mile or on windy Virginia two lane roads. It handled Georgetown pike with all the hills, curves, better than a 911. When I got t-boned by a minivan I spun around three times, smacked the curb and stopped about 50 yards from where she hit me. But the car stayed right side up, and I had absolutely zero injuries. The front drivers and side airbags went off, so the car was an economic total loss, however. These are great cars. The best sleeper car ever. Nobody thinks it will beat their high performance $100,000+ sports car, but it always does. The stereo sucked, though. If I ever get another one I would invest in a full blown custom aftermarket audio system or at least get a better head unit.

Thank you saabkyle I always know where to go when I want a tour and exhaust clip of a car. You haven't let me down you always have the car/ truck what ever I am looking for on your channel.
@@itsn0ne0furbusinesswhereur38 oh haha I personally don’t own one but have a considerable amount of knowledge on these cars. My grandma has a 2014 (newest body style that was started in 2013) and her car has had absolutely 0 problems since the purchase after her older 2010 Taurus. She’s been driving Ford Taurus cars since the early 90s!! My mom has a Ford Explorer which has the same 3.5 liter v6 and similar interior. I highly recommend a newer Taurus as they have way nicer lights all around, and a better interior with more technology. If you do not like the infotainment center including many car controls, it’s unavoidable due to the fact they use the same infotainment center in the previous generation model (featured in this video). If you need any more information on the topic of these big beautiful cars, you know where to go! Thanks for reading my analysis and hopefully you can someday get a nice car like this.
One of the sportiest and sexiest "family" sedans of recent times! It's right behind the 2004-2008 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP/GXP (Which both my mom and I own, so I'm biased) in my books in terms of overall style and performance.
My dad has this car! Same color scheme and all except his has the 20 inch wheels which I personally like the look of better. Man this is one sharp car, I'm impressed with it. Exhaust sounds awesome too, especially when you rev it full throttle! I'm not crazy about some of the electronics but as far as a car goes, man this baby flies! Tons of power, lots of fun to drive with the paddles and has a sweet interior. Only downfall is the visibility in it isn't that great but all in all, it's awesome.
I would've loved to see this car in Mexico's streets. But it never happened! :-( The only thing close to it is a Lincoln MKS (Which is very nice, IMO) :)
The rev limiter isn't really a problem. I've got a 2010 limited, and when you put the throttle to the floor it redlines at 7k or if you're in manual it'll go a bit past 7k before locking up
I was in love with this car. It was a bit too big and heavy for me, but I wouldn't mind owning one at all. It has all the bells and whistles you could ever ask for in a car.
At first I almost didn't think this was an SHO simply because it doesn't have the blacked out grille or same rims as the current SHO up here in Canada. My mistake LOL
For some reason your videos haven't been showing up in my subscriptions box. Gotta go to the channel to see them. Anyways great vid man! This one one of my favorite new cars on the road! :)
@slyguyaction That's because all people care about anymore is fuel economy instead of having a car that's actually fun to drive. This thing would destroy a Camry and an Accord in a race!! Plus it's a much more attractive car than the Camry. The Accord is pretty nice but I pick this over both of them any day. Plus my dad has one and I've driven it so I know how it feels on the road. It's a well built car and Ford has really stepped it up.
@TheXant0s He has said several times that HD videos take a lot more time to upload and it just doesn't have differences in a quality perspective. Videos were shoot in HD so they have good quality but uploaded in 480p so they'll be available quicker. Personally I'm ok with current quality of his videos. I won't complain about Kyle's effort, just name a car reviewer with comparable amount of uploads in HD on RUclips.
I noticed that too. Really strange. Why is there also a rogue trunk release on the dashboard instead of a semi-hidden smaller button on the driver's door panel like Lincoln? Another oddity...
Love the videos Kyle but I have a question. Why do you always start out by saying "Let's start it up and let it run" and then you don't start it up and let it run? You just continue with the video. Just curious. Thanks.
@FonDabt Yeah, I heard about that European Fusion, but that's actually based on the previous Fiesta, right? We never had such car here in America, but at least Fiesta and Focus are being sold and next year the new Mondeo but it will came here under the Fusion nameplate because it's more recognizable than Mondeo over here. BTW: I'm from Mexico and we had the previous Mondeo available from 2001-2007. It was a very nice car. I currently own a Focus II from 2009 (neither were available in USA)
@cncfan Because usually the dealerships don't fill the gas tanks to a full tank. They probably do it for security reasons, or to make sure when people come to test drive the car that they don't go all around the city for hundreds of miles.
@FonDabt Both models will merge as one global mid size car (D segment). So basically the next Fusion will be a Mondeo. The Taurus is a much larger car, it's over 5m long while both the Fusiion and Mondeo are about the same size
I think the car looks fantastic on the outside, but i don't like the dash. I think they could have done it more elegantly. Still, a very good looking car. Ford have good designs now. Take a look at the Focus, Mustang and even the Fiesta. The styling is good! I don't know how it drives. I should find a rental Taurus to test-drive.
@EDP407 Not really, Taurus is a large car (comparable in size to a A6 or a E-Class) while Mondeo is a mid size car, North America has the Fusion in the mid size segment but it doesn't share anything with the Mondeo. But next generation Fusion will be basically the next Mondeo. BTW: Taurus is based on a Volvo platform (S80), that's the only European touch to it and maybe some exterior lines but it has nothing related to a European Ford.
@TranswarpXL Oh shit, I got mixed up, its actually around 4300 lb. lol!! The phantom is kind of like a limo, Plus it has real, and heavy leather all over the interior, each door has 2 window glass for the protection, and interior quietness, there's more features to cover that adds to the weight including the engine. The more quality built these cars are the more they weigh. The Charger weighs 5300 lbs. MOST cars still weigh between 5000-6000.
@backintack The only Camaro that gets better is the automatic with the 3.6, weighing 600lbs less and making 53 less hp. That's when you notice that for a car that can bring a family, has a gigantic trunk, all season drivability and yet can keep up with a Camaro on the highway, 25mpg ain't so bad.
Respond to this video... Beautiful car. Great job Ford. If only all American cars were made this way. Although American manufacturers are getting better.

Better than a 911 lol, in your dreams, maybe the driver couldn’t drive the 911
sorry for your loss and no way it handles better than a 911 the 911 is on another level of handling compared to a fullsize sedan
This is definitely my next buy for sure perfect daily driver 👌🏻

It's my first car! I love it!

Its amazing how many other car dealerships repeat Kyle. when they post videos on youtube. So i guess Kyle has set the standard for car videos.
The curb weight is definitely not 5600lbs. If you go and check CarandDriver's road test of the SHO, it comes in at 4346 lbs.
