The pizza oven location.... closer to the kitchen does make sense, however, the pizza oven is going to be very hot. So that speaks to placing it near that wheel barrow. It would also release the smoke away from the house. For that location out by the wheel barrow you can have a nice looking patio cart to wheel tools and ingredients out to that location. And, I want a hand pie. I want three actually with vanilla ice cream. I want to be unable to walk or speak. Yes that is the ticket. The goats were super cute. Head butting and the doelings chasing chickens. And Winston so nicely greeting them.
I like the area where Kevin pointed out because it's not so close to the house and it doesn't look so cluttered but also being where Kevin had pointed out it's really a talking point or a really pretty piece in its own right and you could have it too close to the house it kind of takes away from the beauty of it
Do you really want the heat from a pizza oven that near wheat you'll be hanging out or entertaining? I'd think added heat would be the last thing you'd want in the hang out area!
That was what I thought. When I saw it was 108* there. Would not want to add heat near the house. But I think it gets cooler at night. So might be nice in the 3 months it's not burning up.
Well, it gets hot there in Arizona and the pizza oven gets even hotter. Do you really want to have it next to the house? Maybe a pizza oven near the bridge where he wants it AND then a built in fire pit where you want the pizza oven that matches the pizza oven. You can then put chairs around it? Expand the rock patio a little bit? Oooo, ooo, make rock benches, and the chairs stay around the table!?
If you put the pizza oven where you want it, it'll block your view from the door. If you put it back a little it will be less intrusive. I'd put it at the corner of the tarp further from the door or on the other side nearer the garden
Don't block your view of the back yard! I think Danell is right. The animals would be my joy. What I want to look at when I'm sitting in the back yard.
DaNelles spot for the pizza oven might close the space up a bit too much. That openess would be lost with such a large structure there. Maybe put a tent or something lighter there for a day or so to see if it closes in the space too much.
VERY GOOD POINT!!! They should place something similarly large there to test it for aesthetics/view ... and also consider the heat, especially getting trapped under the sun shades. The further from the rest area and the house the better.
I definitely see 2. Possibly 3. Olive told Daphne girl I got this you don't have to worry. You should see Daniel and DJs doodle.of sorts (Earl Dibbles) and his most recent creek adventures. When you show the temperature I literally melt. But does Winston give her foot massages? Remember you have to see it all the time??
I heard that if you take a rag and rub it on the “stinky bits” of your buck and then rub that on the new does the established does will like them a little better. I haven’t needed to do it yet but it’s worth a shot!
Kevin's spot will block the view of the pasture. Danelle's spot will block the view of the feed bags. Though I think it'd be better a few feet further from the house, to widen the pathway against the house so it doesn't end up a narrow alley, like the space behind the chicken coop and birthing area.
Oh yeah, dogs that don’t have webbed toes generally hate the water. I had a water dog. Anybody with a dog(s) I met on the trails if they were webby, they swam. If they weren’t webby, they barked from the shore. There were exceptions to the rule. I’m sure Kevin’s patience and care makes Salem feel safe!! Maybe she will be a great swimmer!!
My poodle loves swimming and water and all of that and my labradoodle will hold pee in for days if it rains so she doesn’t have to get her pretty paws wet
All our dogs have loved to swim none of them were water breeds. My current dog is a border collie Doberman mix who would swim until he drowned if I let him.
Re placement of the pizza oven. Everyone is talking about closer or farther from the house - I think farther is better. But do you also have to consider proximity to the sunshade over the pond - not so close that heat will move toward the pond and hang around under the sunshade? Maybe a Kevin Craft to rig a powered vent to send heat up & out? (after the pizza's done of course!)
Pizza oven is very pretty! Wherever you put it, I place it so the opening of the oven is facing you when you go outside. It’s nice for the chef to face the guests or the pond when you’re outside, but the prettiest side of the oven is the open side, and you’ll be seeing the oven more than you’ll actually use it. So it needs to be functional but also look its best.
my opinion is the pizza oven should be by the wheel barrel. It would be in the way of the door of the garage or shed there. You would have to go around it constantly and as your other commenter said " It does get really hot"'. The one I saw you wanting to make really looks big also. But ultimatetly it's your decision.
I wish I had access to farm animals. Too much cement in the city I think the pizza oven should be where Kevin thinks. Because you don’t want a hot oven close to the house. A hot pizza oven should have lots of space around it I think
I advise that with the pie crusts for the hand pies, that you use a fork to press the edges together - it'll bind the pastry together better, hopefully preventing or at least reducing spillout
Hi guys!Love your channel😍My husband Bob and I are retired from Colorado and now living in Queen creek and boy it’s hot hot hot! My favs are the goats. But I love all the animals. You take such good care of all of them❤️Thanks for sharing your life with us.
If you use a little egg wash around the rims and then use a fork to crimp the edges it will help seal the pies a little . you should make 2 small (cm or smaller) slits to vent 🇨🇦 you can also egg wash the tops for more of a pastry texture.
I would love too see an over head of your yard and a run down of management you do for the areas to keep your yard looking so stellar with the amount of animals you have.
I would put the pizza oven at one of the ends of the porch next to the house. Probably the further one. That way it wouldn't obstruct the view but still would be close enough to go in and out of the house. It may be something you want to sit next to as well, which makes the porch end a good place.
Maybe split the difference on the oven and put it somewhere in between? I am a bit worried that Salem might accidentally run into it if you put it too close to the house. Also, it is good to see that all those babies can hold their own.
I have seen them. The older white one is in this video today for a second or two. The little one has been in the last couple of videos. They are not featured though. Its all about the goats, the recipes, and the upgrades. Love it.
My choice would be where the wheelbarrow is..it is aesthetically pleasing design there and they do give off heat, I would not want it near my sun shades ..
The "I guess" Kevin said about the pizza oven was really him saying "ok honey, I'll do what you want even though I don't particularly agree". That's a good hubby right there lmao!

Its too hot here in Arizona to have the pizza oven close to the house. I agree with Kevin, a little further back!

I agree too👍🏻👍🏼♥️

I feel like it would look out of place in your chosen spot, however in Kevin’s spot, it would blend into the rocks of the pond and look better :)
Totally agree!

I agree with Kevin on the pizza oven location. Those things burn really hot and take a while to cool down. Excited to see the new build.
Maybe the heat it makes will make you want it farther out
Y'all are one of my favorite RUclipsr families Keep up the good work
I agree with Kevin as to where the pizza oven should go!
I vote with Kevin it will look nicer! And think of the heat its going to radiate.
Hello I am a big fan of Luna and everyone I love them so much
You have to think of the heat close to the house, especially during the summer months for the pizza oven!
I look forward to these videos every week
I love that you used an old Tupperware pitcher lid to cut out your hand pie crusts!
Love you all. Thankyou 😘🥰

I think I’d put it further from the house because of the heat. It’s already so hot there won’t the heat be too much if you put it close to the house?
I think Olive is gonna be a dominant goat! Btw I think it would look great close to the house by the pond! 🙂
I heard that if you take a rag and rub it on the “stinky bits” of your buck and then rub that on the new does the established does will like them a little better. I haven’t needed to do it yet but it’s worth a shot!

Your little apples pies looked SO good!!! 🥧
In Northern California we were 111* today. Love the all the babies.

Same my dog was hesitant to swim as a pup but once she followed another dog in at age 2 she loved it and now you can't get her out. Shepherd-collie x

I think Kevin is right about the pizza oven placement. Think about the heat it will expell during summer.
I kevins option! The other is to close to the house.
Love all your babies big and little. And love your family. 😁❤ thanks for sharing your Amazing life with us.
Kevin's spot for the oven I think would be best. Those pies looked amazingly delicious btw. 😋
Olive is so independent and fierce!
That pizza oven is going to heat up the part of the yard where you put it... maybe away from the house where Kevin said would be better.
Pizza oven is very pretty! Wherever you put it, I place it so the opening of the oven is facing you when you go outside. Have you thought about crimping the edges with a fork on the hand pies? That way it forms a lil barrier so the filling doesn’t spill out
my opinion is the pizza oven should be by the wheel barrel. It would be in the way of the door of the garage or shed there. You would have to go around it constantly and as your other commenter said " It does get really hot"'. The one I saw you wanting to make really looks big also. But ultimatetly it's your decision.
Try the crimping that Cornish pasties have for your hand pies. It’s fairly simple and your pies won’t spill anymore.
I wish I had access to farm animals. Too much cement in the city
I think the pizza oven should be where Kevin thinks. Because you don’t want a hot oven close to the house. A hot pizza oven should have lots of space around it I think

I agree with the pizza oven being closer to the house. Much more convenient! 👍🏻 It’s going to look so good!
I like Kevin’s proposed pizza oven location better!
Heck yeah time to let the babies into the pasture!!
I love the cute ears of these lovely goats 😊
Where Kevin says for the pizza oven.

near the house, so you can fetch things into the house quicker if it rains or if one person is left to do it on their own.
I would put the pizza oven at one of the ends of the porch next to the house. Probably the further one. That way it wouldn't obstruct the view but still would be close enough to go in and out of the house. It may be something you want to sit next to as well, which makes the porch end a good place.

That was so fun to watch! Olive is a sassy one already lol nd I love how Salem nd elsa are good friends. Its to cute!
Baby goats are so cute
I’m a chef… and I understand wanting it to be close, but… heat too close is not fun. 😊🙏🏻
I hope you keep up the good work and i love your videos!! The babies are so beautiful if you do the show with them you will win!
Can't wait for the cute little babies!
Thanks for keeping us up to date always look forward to your videos.
Maybe split the difference on the oven and put it somewhere in between? I am a bit worried that Salem might accidentally run into it if you put it too close to the house. Also, it is good to see that all those babies can hold their own.
Thank you for sharing. 🥰
I love your videos so much!! The babies are so big now!!!!!! 🥰😂🥳
Pies looked great. My grandma always used a fork to pinch them together to avoid the filling pouring out.
In between, more in line with the bridge. A bit further from the house but still convenient for multi-tasking cooks
I’m guessing hazel will have 3 babies
I just love your little farm!
That design looks so cool

I like the general area for the pizza oven near the house, but pushed back some so it's not so close to the sun shades.
Elsa' s face at 8.15 is a mood 🤣. she's so adorable
The "I guess" Kevin said about the pizza oven was really him saying "ok honey, I'll do what you want even though I don't particularly agree". That's a good hubby right there lmao!
I agree I think the pizza oven should be closer to the house. You can cook other things in it like bread breadsticks there's many things.
