Thanks for the great session and track Joe, it was really fun to brainstorm together! It really nails the tone of the game - Perfectly encapsulating the dark, mysterious elements of Hazard Pay and providing a dirty rythm to jam to while covering up some terrible crimes..
This is amazing video! I really like the track you've created. The main motiff is catchy but not overwhelming, the track as a whole is not annoying. It think it fits well to the target game. Creation of music, to fit in certain categories and to evoke certain feelings and emotions is beyond my head, feels like black magic to me and for you it was just... like it's a piece of cake. Can't wait for the next episode!
I absolutely love music, and seeing a sort of behind the scenes of the development of music really hits for me in a way that the BTS of games doesn't because for game design (and most art forms) I can look a blank canvas and go "well, I can see how to start and add on to it and make it into what I want", but I just don't have the right brain to have that experience with the idea of making music.
I love music. Duh. Despite me not knowing much about music writing or just videogame music I found myself able to follow what was happening. Super interesting! I love the music and the game looks awesome visually and gameplay-wise (dat a word?). Wishlisted! ^^
This video was super interesting. You did a great job explaining your process , and the final track fits the game so well. It's odd to me that this wouldn't fit your normal demographic...maybe the 'how I approach game music' angle isn't obvious to people glancing at the thumbnail or title? Either way, I think you did an awesome job.

Nice job with the tunes and here's to another great Godot game!

Any shares on this one are appreciated - seems to not be hitting as easily, probably because it's outside of my usual view-bases' interests.
This was great to watch, liked seeing your entire thought process.

@@Simon-et4hu ah that’s great feedback - I didn’t want it to get too music-tech nerdy, so that’s great to hear
@@IndieGameClinic I think we want the tech-nerdiness!

Yeah I changed the title a few times haha - it’s one of the hardest things!
hmmm when did I hire someone with a PhD to craft a lesson in *precicely* my topic of interest?
disposing of bodies? 🤔
