- In the Old Testament Jacob wrestled with God and prevailed but not in the way that you think. Many of you are wrestling right now. What will be the result? Here's my takeaway from today's personal bible reading.

We are told that when we become children of God we are given a new name. One which we will not know until we stand before God. Our lives are forever changed at the moment we accept Jesus and start our walk. Many fall and have hard lives but they prevail. Only because we have God walking beside us and before us ordering our days if we allow it. I know how hard life's trials can be. I know for certain that because of my walk, I'm here today. Sadly, I grow tired at times and ask God why. Then I hear " My Grace is sufficient". Yet, that is hard to accept when you are in such pain. Yet, I prevail. Not because of my strength but because even in my infirmities I count on God doing exactly what He said he would do. I asked each day for strength, guidance, and wisdom to overcome. I don't always follow it as like many I want to be the head and not the tail. I gain strength each day as our walk with Jesus is a lifelong relationship that has far exceeded my expectations. I hope in him which to me is beyond faith. I know that God always prevails as I'm proof.
Amen brother. Thy will not mine be done. 32 years sober, glory be to God. There was a battle. He won! Hallelujah!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ : for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH !!! The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross as a blood atonement to pay for our sins ! He was buried , but he was RESURRECTED on the third day ! For the victory over sin and death !
I appreciate the way you bring the Lord to the masses. We ALL need his Grace. Blessings

Single my entire life & celibate for over 14 years and the struggle gets so much at times it feels like life & death and I get so tired so done. I am happiest when I’m surrendered to God’s plan for my life but man sometimes it’s like my flesh is talking strategy with the enemy. It’s like you were talking to me. I have been wrestling with God…again. Thank you sir.

Amen Chad! Amen! My adult children are struggling and I want to help them but nothing I say seems to have meaning to them. So I pray for them. I pray that everywhere they go and in everything they do, that God will drop truth in their heart and cause it to grow. The love of Jesus in someones heart is the most wonderful experience I can hope for in someones life. Yesterday during my time with God I thanked him that he is working in their lives. Thank you for being yourself and speaking truth.

Thank you sir. That was what I needed to hear. I've been wrestling with Him for quite some time, and the thought of just letting go has crossed my mind more than once. However, as a former bullrider and lifetime rodeo vagrant, letting go is not an option. When I was riding (MANY years ago), I let go plenty of times. Nothing was more painful than looking in the mirror and knowing I hadn't given it my all. When I finally learned to keep my hand shut NO MATTER what, riding bulls became easier. Granted, I never turned into a world beater, but I did learn to hang on. And that's my life situation now...just hang the frick on and don't look at ground. Thanks Chad. I know you'll understand my analogy.

Thanks Chad, I've been going through some tough times lately and I have been doing just that, wrestling with God and in constant prayer. It's not easy but I strive each day to be less like me and more like Jesus. God bless you man 🙏
Been waiting on Him to speak back for a little while now, to tell me or to show me what He wants from me. I surrender myself to Him completely, for this world doesn't seem to want someone like me, and it often seems so alien to me at the same time (all that which isn't His creation, anyway). We have all these stories in the Bible, of good and great and evil men, but I can't help but question: who and which am I to Him, but an unskilled and damn near worthless nameless sinner - some future homeless man or nomad at best, seemingly? It can be tough, waiting for a command or a word back. I hope He shows me what I'm supposed to do some day, as best as I can do it.

Heard of your podcasts from Matt Kim. A group of us men that started a Bible study together, just decided to start our own church. We take a chapter every week and dissect it(follow Strongs also to get the Hebrew). The Bible is the best history book, and also the world to come!!! Glad to see someone with your influence also get it!!! Go study and see it all yourself I always say! Open what you have been told for years, and build your faith!!

I watched your videos and decided to finally come out as a transgender lesbian.
I disagree, Chad. Jacob didn't come up with the trick to take Esau's birthright. His mom did AND took ALL responsibility on herself. He even protested. Besides, Esau traded his blessing fair and square! Typical human, thinking with his stomach, or some other body part, rather than pondering what GOD wants. I do note; God didn't seem to mind.
This video said nothing about that particular event.
