The reason I say this is that it sounds like a west coast type of production and havoc from SCC is from west coast and also worked a lot with a singer called Portia who contributed vocals to many songs for SCC. I thought it was the singer Portia Kirkland who sang the song "Check the mirror" with Marley Marley. What confirms what you tell me is that the Larrabee record company is located in Santa Monica, California. I found the sound of the instrumentals strange, but as I didn't know Portia who sings with SCC I didn't do further research. Thanks again.
