You're always dropping gems and I always look forward to your videos, thank you for real. Since finding your channel i've levelled up so much a s a producer
Another great video idea. What you'll find though, is that the drums do a lot. The modern day patterns but also the timbre, the sound and sonics of those drums. The vocals as well.
@@stefanguy smooth glide for sure is one I’m going to play with. Thankfully I got 25 during the anniversary, also going to experiment with Daveland a bit more. Typically I’ll use Kontour for basses and tweak them to give me a Jahaan Sweet sound but will for sure try out Daveland as it’s a sound I’ve been looking for for awhile now. Super 8 i don’t experiment with enough it seems
Dope… yeah man a lot of people seemed to have missed out on 25. I may need to campaign for them to bring it back haha. Yeah Super 8 is nice man. It’s one that kind of went under the radar because it was a Reaktor synth at first then became its own standalone synth. Definitely a joy to use. I haven’t used Kontour in so long but I would use that a lot too. I may need to fire it up again!
This type of content, for me is golden, I have purchased way too many vsts in the past and still don't know which sounds to pick for the ideas in my head. There are just so many... I already had all of the ones you mentioned but never came across any of the presets before (paralysis by analysis I guess). I just played around with these today and they are all AMAZING. Just the sounds I've been trying to find. These types of videos along with your chord progression ones have been wonderful for me in my journey of actually making beats instead of fighting trying to find the right sounds and progressions to match what I hear in my head. Keep them coming!
Hey Kevin, man this is awesome to hear bro! I totally get that paralysis by analysis but glad this video helped highlight some sounds for you, that you already have! Thanks for the words of encouragement, new vids dropping soon!
We need more RnB presets like this 🔥🔥🔥 I would love videos on the different drum bounces like party to bouncy to slow classic 90s rnb mixed more modern
Hahaha! I realised we were half way through 2022 and I had to get it together! Such a great feeling to know I have people waiting for the next post though. Next drop won't be nearly as long I promise!

Really useful video. I own a lot of these synths because I have Komplete 13, but I haven't explored them much yet. This has given me that kick up the backside to start looking more at what I have. Really happy to be a new subscriber to this channel. Thanks Stefan! :)
Hey Col! Glad you found the video useful man. It can be overwhelming with the amount of sounds that come with Komplete 13! Do you use Komplete 13 with Komplete Kontrol? If not I'd definitely recommend it. Aside from the ability to quickly preview sounds, the favourites function very handy. Thanks for the sub and welcome to the channel!
@@stefanguy Hey, yes I use Komplete Kontrol S88 and the software, really useful functions and the keyboard is great to play. Thanks for the response and the warm welcome!
