16th UYD (2015): Good Practice #7 - Women Parliamentarian Network

Milos presents a project launched in Uzice, Serbia: a women parliamentarian Network aiming at working together on common issues related to women's rights.
Since its participation in the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe training of trainers on structured participation of young women in democratic processes (September 2015, UYD, Mollina, Spain), the Network Launched several projects: an action plan on structured participation of women in democratic processes in Uzice (Serbia), with the support of the Swedish Embassy; a local Action Plan of gender equality for the City of Uzice and a workshop on political participation, advocacy with a particular focus on the Istanbul Convention. The workshop targeted women from Parliament, from political parties and from Civil Society Organisations in Uzice.
