Played baseball in Murray with Daniel and had the opportunity to go over to their house a couple times. This was well before David tried out for American Idol but I do remember meeting him and he was genuinely nice. Very soft spoken and just kind. In fact, I didn’t even knew David sang until I saw him on American Idol. My little sister voted for him through the whole show as much as she could 😅
