SO AWESOME! ❤ Conducting a sitting, static band is one thing. Conducting a dynamic, moving band is something else. Hat's off to the Conductor, the Designer, and all other lead personnel that made this a Beautiful Success!
The concert version of this song was pretty hard. But making it a marching version is even harder! That was fantastic, I didn't expect to see an English Horn in a marching band!
Sadly he retired in 2014, but we still have great directors (Mr. Harper, Mr. Thompson Jr and Mrs. Snyder who was the drum major in the third movement of this show)
Torry Skurski thanks for the reply! You know, for years I didn’t know SCV did phantom of the opera two years in a row. So cool that both lion shows are different.
one of my favorite soundtracks... wonderfully done... excellent presentation...
I wonder if Jerry ever saw this, I'm sure it would have put a big smile on his face.
I was in this band...played trumpet....was one of the best memories I have
Same! Well, except for the trumpet part. But I remember like it was yesterday!
GREAT JOB! JERRY GOLDSMITH WOULD BE PROUD!
It's hard to believe this is a high school band. They're beautiful.
Wow! Fantastic!

Why is there a cameo by "Out Of Africa" at the five minue mark?

This is great!
Thanks so much for uploading this! Been looking for this for years.
WOW! 😳😄😍
Other than some of the drill and the uniforms (including guard) this show is pretty advanced compositionally
Wasn't Alfred Watkins the band director then?
Yes! He was!
Torry Skurski I've always heard about you guys, but never saw it for myself. Awesome!!

Two wind and the lion shows?
Yes, 97 and 98, but two completely different sets and music.
