- What's up everyone this is my diet going into ironman training I make slight changes every video as I seem to learn new things and discover the most optimal nutrition. This way of eating currently is what's helping me progress thus far! Like always stay cornfed 🌽

The information about Carbohydrate's in this video is not very good at all. I work in Sports Nutrition and as long as you are eating good quality nutritious Carbs and not junk you will not gain weight unless you going over your daily calorie needs. It's Calories in v Calorie out and I work in Sports Nutrition and have had diet plans designed for me. Carbs are great and very healthy. The good ones like fruit, vegetables, potatoes, rice, quinoa, wholemeal bread and wraps.
Nice break down on the nutrition. I haven’t been to Texas but have been battling 105 to 110 degrees in Southern California. All my workouts have been at night due to work early. Would you still base your carbs around those workouts being before bed?
Also part of why you were feeling inflamed with certain types of carbs there is the gluten. Gluten causes inflammation in the body. Learned that from my wife that has MS.

I added in a bagel before heavy weight training on Monday and man was I way more hungry throughout the day. Helped fuel me no doubt but hunger was up afterwards.

Damn. Well I guess I'll be eating less carbs, cause I've been stuck at 170 for a month, that's with weight training and cardio and with a 3-500 deficit a day.
