  • Keynote speaker, Dr. Marlene Tromp, shared 'Discovering Internal Empowerment' the morning of the first day of the virtual Women and Leadership Conference 2020. Her address was concluded with a question and answer section from the audience and Andrus Center for Public Policy Board Chairman, Tracy Andrus.
    Before becoming Boise State University’s 7th president on July 1, 2019, Dr. Tromp served as provost and executive vice chancellor at the University of California, Santa Cruz and dean of the Arizona State University New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. Succeeding Bob Kustra, she is the first female president of Boise State.
