This building could’ve been preserved and restored to how it looked like when it was first built!
Doubt it. If it's anything like how my old high school was I say smash it to bits.
they can easily renovate it. old buildings are history.@@Lunar_Capital
The inside was damaged by a flood in 2007
It's always a sad day when you see history being destroyed.
Always sad to see a school demolished. I lost my HS (Upper Arlington, Ohio) to the wrecking ball last year.
Wow... !!! My best friend, Great Good... !!! I wish you every day of your development.
Thanks for the kind words!
Así es que debe ser un video de demolición... Excelentes imágenes y excelentes SONIDOS de los escombros al desmoronarse y caer. Inmensas felicitaciones. Saludos desde Colombia.
Gracias por las palabras amables.
Nice work bringing that down, it certainly was an eyesore. Quite a reach on that machine and good operator.
Lastly, great job capturing the action. Excellent editing and cinematography!
SPPS is Saint Peter and Paul School built in 1921.
I love to see the removal of such buildings however old they are
Wow, one can see several facelifts over the years. That roof was sure asked to hold up a lot of extra weight
From the outside, it look freshly build ! I know the external look don't mean the inside is good top at it may be totally rotten with structural failure, but still amaze me.
Note the opposite is true, sad external and dirty but very strong and safe inside. Do you know why it was demolished ?
New school addition replaced it in another location and Parish Center to be built on site.
Was it really so 'unfit for purpose' that it had to be destroyed?
Looked like a nice facade at least?
Maintenance and/or renovation costs too high.
This was so sad...
Can't even go to school in Ohio 💀💀
Why did they spray it down with water
To keep the dust down
Why dont they turn them into apartments beautiful building
A parish center is being built to connect to the church soon.
I did not like going to schools, for me good riddance. St.Paul,Minnesota.
What is SPPS ?
Saints Peter and Paul - housed grades 1-12 and then in later years just elementary students.
