I've been riding their wildcat high top shoe for like 8 months now Best freaking shoe I've ever ridden, they're practically indestructible, can't recommend them enough
Looks like a better version of Vans. The outsole looks super grippy. Just got the Powerlines in orange/charcoal/black, and I love them. In my experience suade is great, until it gets wet once. I hope they help the brand become more popular for bmx riders, but personally I like the added ankle protection of Powerlines. Def a great addition to their lineup though. I wonder if they'll add that outsole to any other shoes in their line.
@@Brant_Moore If they made a mid-top version of this shoe without suede, I'd buy a pair the day they dropped. Full ankle coverage is very appealing to those learning tail whips, and those that skateboard and ride scooters.
Bought some Air Jordan 1’s to ride in and it changed my world. High top, quality padding around the ankle. Extra support all around. Well worth the money and you can buy a used/new pair $100-$200.
I tried Airs J's and i must have gotten ones that had a bad batch of glue the rubber just peeled right off after 2 weeks of hard riding. I guess i'll give them another try. Now the Nike AF's are Good if you haven't tried. I had bought 3 pairs so far and im surprised at how well made they are and the rubber is really durable! i put over 6 months of hard riding and skateboarding per pair and still have over half the tread left on each pair! the only thing that wore out was the padding on the inside. i will say that i have modified the rubber by cutting dimples (about 6 mm wide) all over the bottom to grip the pedals (only because they are flat bottoms) I still find it hard to believe that i love Nike's AF's as much as Van's, DC's, and yes also Airwalk's. That's right I said it Airwalk's are one of my favorites!
Those look comfortable and nice, I used to be a personal trainer and found that the Nike Ramaleos 4 are really good for riding, also the Adidas Powerlift 3.1 Weightlifting Shoes.
@Brant_Moore they’re great especially since they have straps in the perfect place to secure your footing and positions. My feet stay in place within the shoe all the time, great for when you have to bail and need that sudden stopping power. Shoes are stiff at first but break in nicely.
I just bought a pair of them little spendy 107.75 shiped cool shipping was free thank for showing these I've war vans forever can't wait to get them an ride with these on
pretty picky with shoes, but if they make a midtop version of this i'd def try em out as they look good..... huge fan of grippy pedals and they look like theyll lock in nice
@@Brant_Moore okay bc the power lines run small so I sized up. Ill size up with these as well. They just cane out with the mid tops so yeah stoked to get them 👌🤘
I don’t personally think so. I like to ride in mid tops so these have become my every day shoes for wearing daily. Haven’t really noticed anything out of the ordinary with the heat
Looks a lot better then the mountain bike shoes. I had vans bike shoes with cleats and the sole ripped up easily especially if you’re running brake less. All I want is a low top skate shoe with durable somewhat stiff and sticky sole. Don’t want to buy mountain bike shoes and look like a douche.
It’s TPU plastic. Thermoplastic polyurethane is what it stands for and based on what I feel in the toe it covers about an inch from the front of the shoe
Never tried anything other than stock insoles. Might have to try some others one day and see if I notice anything. My feet don’t usually hurt on the bottom though

Super psyched that you're liking them man! I'm sure you put them through some stuff too!
@@Brant_Moore you have no idea. Edit drops soon.

I’ll send them this comment and maybe your input will have an impact! Really really glad you’re enjoying the power lines as well!!

I’m sure that it will happen! I’m not sure about material, but I didn’t even consider the skate scooter side of things with this shoe!
If they had those but in mid tops I'd definitely grab a pair
I’ve mentioned it to them and I’m sure it’s been brought up. Well see what happens in the future!
Mid top for sure. I'm a hightop rider, hate flimsy shoes. So if they can remain some stiffness after 6 months of street riding then they are worth it
You had me at D3O inserts. I'm getting a pair!
Heck yea man I hope you love them!!!
They look sick

That's interesting, how did those hold up for you?

Those look pretty good. 🤘🤘
They are pretty good!
Interested, but would also prefer a mid to help with ankle protection
Maybe if these do well enough a mid version will come
I really like the camo ones in the thumbnail.#100k
Are the shoes grippy on the ground
What's the average lifespan of rc shoes in general?
Did you find that these camo shoes stretched out @ all??

How do they fit compared to the wild cats and powerlines?
They’re a little more of a comfort fit I’d say
@@Brant_Moore okay bc the power lines run small so I sized up. Ill size up with these as well. They just cane out with the mid tops so yeah stoked to get them 👌🤘
Oh, I’d say they fit similarly. My Vice are samples from before release but they fit snug where the same size of a powerline fits normal
Are they wider then regular shoes? And know any good shoes that are wide for bmx?
I would say they have a normal width to them
Does if feel too hot for daily use off the bike?

Sounds like these are your perfect option then!!
These would probably be great for you then!
@Brant_Moore I’ll try them, just skeptical about the sole durability
I like how an MTB appearance means douche. they are a goofy bunch right!
Scott I’ve been involved with both. BMXers in general are waaaaaaay more chill.
How much are they?
$100. They have free shipping on their site right now
Those better be something good shoes and protect the ankles for $100 smacaroons
He literally says in the video..
@@bmorris5863 yea. I'm picky, I like my riding shoes to feel almost like a boot and not flip flops
Check their Powerline if you like stiff soles
Is the toe protection like a steel toe boot?
It’s TPU plastic. Thermoplastic polyurethane is what it stands for and based on what I feel in the toe it covers about an inch from the front of the shoe
Oh that's pretty awesome. I like how they look!
Definitely worth keeping in mind next time you need some shoes!
Look like Vans to be honest. I find all stock insoles to be crap & use FP insoles, even the lites are better than stock insoles.
Never tried anything other than stock insoles. Might have to try some others one day and see if I notice anything. My feet don’t usually hurt on the bottom though
But how broke are these gonna make me?
Haha they’ll set you back $100
Bro these are rip off pro bmx vans shoes trust me iv been on vans for ever!
Too bad RC is a only bike brand plus vans BMX shoes wear out faster plus the sole grip is decent but these RCs are magic trust me
