As a owner of a pair, I like what RC is doing for BMX. I have owned Vans before and the build quality is low and they are too flexible for BMX. I feel you pay for the brand name, more than the quality. I know people swear by Vans but from my experience, I avoid them. I am willing to pay more for quality and something that will last longer.
They look like work boots. Vans or SCG all day. Support companies that have been supporting BMX since day one and never leave BMX.

Looks like a quality shoe for sure. Would be great if they offered alot of color choices.
I just ordered a pair right before I watched your video.
Also at the end of the video. It's like a new car. That was brand new leather. When I worked for American LaFrance building firetrucks and EMS I worked for Journeys at night. New shoes are the best smelling.
They may be MTB shoes but they're the best BMX shoe I've ever ridden.
The description of the shoes says these are BMX shoes while also being MTB freestyle shoes. Brant even reads it in the video.
If they were more price competitive they could be a killer but unfortunately less people will give them a shot due to the higher price.
Personally I only buy Vans when they are on sale and these shoes are $180 Canadian for me so for a shoe that is going to get beat up it doesn’t make sense.
Vans base models are around 110- 140 aud but rc vice mid is 94 in Australia
I'm going to need those the camos and slides in a US12 when they send them to you just DM me and we will go from there I need red suede. For some reason I love red shoes. Those look really good. Can't wait for you to put them to the test.
These are super dope! I think I'm sticking with the Powerlines though; my DJ has some intense pedals.
I just got the live wire. I like them so far. Foot feels pretty protected. Ever try foot print insoles? I’ve been thinking about trying those for my wide flat feet

How about the foot bed? I like the look of Vans, but they have no foot bed support. I have a pre-Adidas pair of mid-top 5-10s. Much more foot bed support than Vans. Much stiffer sole than Vans. However, I do not think the Adidas 5-10s come in mid tops. The RC Vice mid might be a replacement. How is the foot bed support? How is the width?
Hmmm. I guess compared to some of my other shoes it feels like there is even support on all of the bottom of the foot. Other shoes I’ve had have made my feet hurt because it seems like they’re just flat on the bottom. These are definitely not like that
How is the sizing compared to sk8 hi?

Aaa come on, inverted hexagons? That's just the Vans Waffle Sole filled in. Every skateboard or bmx shoe is a rip-off of Vans. Wear the original(even though they suck ha ha).
