Sweet goodness Dori! I’m so excited for you. Honestly it’s hard not feel some envy but know this I am seriously excited and grateful you are able through wagovy to fulfill your bariatric weightloss goal/dream. I’m still hoping when hubby’s insurance switched up to a different plan in August that it will cover this medication. As of now the plan we are on doesn’t cover anything pertaining to any weightloss anything. It sucks but I have a bit of hope to look forward to in August. Anyways, love you and please update us with other going on in life.
Thank you for sharing your journey! I'm ready to talk to my doctor about a weight loss medication. I had RNY gastric bypass in 2018. I lost very slowly, but I accepted that. I never made it to my goal when I started to gain again eating and exercising the exact same. I got discouraged, fell off the wagon for a few months, and put on more weight. I knew I was harming myself so I tried to turn it around. I've worked hard to get off the regain, and it's just not budging. I am maintaining instead of losing. I am still down 70 pounds from my highest weight, but the amount I've gained and the fact that I can't seem to get it off has me concerned and disappointed. I think my next step is medication. It's worth a try!

They will give it for weight loss even if bmi is not high?
It really depends on if there are other factors. And insurance of course
