I absolutely love how hard you work, and put into your job as a nurse and your job as a content creator…..but then you also try to give yourself time to just relax, or to spend time with your friends.
I never seen a pediatric ICU nurse complaining; I have the biggest admiration for you guys.
The world my be ending, they may have the worst shift and you guys still love what you do.
When I was working in pediatric ICU nutritionist I loved all the nurses there. I saw some of the worst things but I still wanted to go and help.
Your work ethic is so amazing 😭 you literally inspire me to work harder everyday
@Monica Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.
I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that l've not lost hope.
I have sat for NCLEX Exam for the 9th time now and still failed , i guess licence isn't meant for people like me🤦♂️💔😭

Nclex test is really frustrating, I can't believe I failed again after studying so much. 🤦♂️💔😭

Hey just a little tip when using serums dont drag the applicator across your skin but like drop it on your face or even your hands because the bacteria can get on it and you put it back in the bottle and it can cause your skin to break out

Healthy light meals I’ve been rotating on (a previous preschool teacher who understands cortisol raising jobs lol):
-Chicken strips + any veggies, in mini tortilla wrap (I mix the veggies first with balsamic vinegar and EVOO) + side of fruit like kiwi (has 2x the vitamin c of an orange)
- 2 HB eggs + PB toast (I sometimes add pumpkin seeds and sliced banana on top)
Or
-2 HB eggs + apple w PB + walnuts
-Deli turkey on sourdough (I freeze my breads then reheat in toaster) if I have them, I add sliced mini cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, avo. Condiments: mustard, balsamic glaze
-Tea to settle my stomach + orange and muffin (sometimes + raspberry dark choc if I have it)
-Fried egg + avo on sourdough (sometimes I add taco sauce. I developed IBS due to job stress so I now buy the Fody brand taco sauce which has no garlic or onion)
-Yogurt granola bowl topping ideas: pecans, pumpkin seeds, PB, blueberries, apples, coconut flakes, crumbled fig newton or cookies (I use So Delicious unsweetened vanilla coconut yogurt bc dairy betrays me, but Greek yogurt would be more filling!)
Also, the frozen tri color bell peppers at TJ’s are so easy to heat in the microwave and throw intro omelettes or other dishes. Definitely recommend!!
If you want two yogurts, eat two yogurts! Eat as much as your body tells you 🙏🥰

My faveeeee way of getting greens is the Trader Joe’s broccoli and kale slaw but I toss in some diced sweet potatoes, crushed almonds, red pepper flakes and TJs Green Goddess dressing - if I have them I’ll toss some mango in and It’s incredible
My mom and sister are both RN’s and the amount of heart you all have is amazing…
You should meal prep egg bites! Blend 9 eggs and 1 and a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese put them in a muffin tin and cook for 10min so easy and filling! You can add anything to them spinach, bacon, cheese, ham, peppers, ect.
For your oatmeal, boil the water in the microwave first. Then pour it over the oats, place a plate over top, and let it sit for 2ish mins and it should be perfect!
OMG, don’t throw those juices away. The SUJA juice is safe to drink. The bottle has an expiration date on them. And those dates are normally months out. Once you open a bottle though, normally, it should be drunk within 3-5 days.

Yeah get a way bigger bowl for the oatmeal. That’s what I do so I can let it cook all the way throught without being worried about overflow

i love making breakfast sandwiches with english muffins and egg white and turkey bacon !!! it’s a copy of the one i get from starbucks and it’s so easy and high protein

Anna I love your vlogs a lot …. You are amazing 💕🌸 Most of The time I like to eat little portions of different snacks or a salad, and I like simple not complicated things…. So here is a couple of ideas, maybe you like them :
- tuna with mayo mixed well like a spread. I eat it with my favorite crackers.
- mix of green salad, drizzle of olive oil, a lemon 🍋, and feta cheese, and bacon beats.
- avocado 🥑 tacos 😉 made with thin corn tortilla and a pinch of sea salt.
- green zucchini noodles, salted in organic butter and sesame seeds …. Yummmm

Use a bigger bowl. That happened to me until I switched bowls. I use a large coffee mug now.

Omg this used to happen with my oats i got so annoyed! I do one min in microwave then take out and stir, then 30-45 seconds more! Hope this helps :))

Get you a wall organizer for your Swiffer and stuff and hang it up on the wall above your trashcan!
oatmeal always explodes in the microwave- I just use hot water and add that to the bowl.

One great thing about working in healthcare right now is not needing to wear any makeup due to being masked up 😩
