Hey Bryan, Graco sells a product in an aerosol can that you can spray onto your equipment to prevent any paint from sticking to it. It's part of their Airlessco range. It sprays on, wipes off and leaves a very thin, almost unnoticeable film that prevents any paint from sticking to it. It's not oil or silicone based, non slimy and doesn't affect paint in any way. Makes cleanup a breeze and way faster. Even tip guards can be kept looking brand new.
@@BryanBuilt well .. getting one this monday. wonder if its worth. thanks to you guys comments .. and im only using it to spray trim . and doors. kassing and why not. cabinets .. body
I bought one a few months back for a small remodel I m on. Got mine for $1100. I love this machine. Much easier than dragging a hose. I was amazed at the near no overspray cloud I get with my other sprayer. For me it’s worth what I paid for it.
Yes It is but has a finite life span on the pump. It’s better for small jobs like trim, doors, cabinets. I did paint out a few rooms completely ceilings and walls.
@rathanickheng I wouldn't use it for that since a pump replacement is 300. I own one and it is awesome for smaller jobs as it only needs 1 oz of paint to fill the hose to the gun. My graco 390 uses more than a quart to get started
I love mine. It’s great. So glad I purchased it. Also.. not sure if it goes for amazon purchases. But for anyone following your amazon link to buy… they should look into the deal Graco has right now. I was able to get 3 free tips. Worth looking into.
I really like the idea of having this sprayer for small projects and touch up but for that money I feel like it’d be better for me to go with the new titan 440 x
yeah, it's pretty pricey. I'm not to familiar with titan I think we have only had 1. this one is for sure for small jobs and cabinets , front doors etc. iif you are needing something all around then a 440 i think would be better but if you need something specialized and easy to get in and out of small jobs this works great. thanks for watching
I have an unrelated question... I have vertical wooden corner strips of wood in some rooms. How would I cut part of the strip off? Is there a tool for that? It's really stuck on there!
Hmmm? Cant really say without seeing it but im thinking a multi tool maybe would help . It can cut flush agains the wall and can be manuevered into odd spaces
I got a quick question I don’t do much painting but as a new painter which is the best spray gun to go for I’m doin this little job right now but someone ask me to do a 4 bed room house which spray gun is convenient
If youve got the budget for it the graco 395 is a great daily use sprayer. But its a pro sprayer thats expensive. We have also had great luck with the graco 210es and the avanti sparyer from harbor freight. These are both really close to professional models but made for consumers. They have lasted us 1-2 years before any issues. They run under 1k .
I own my own painting company and I bought one last year came in handy a few times but definitely overpriced. You can buy a GX 19 finish sprayer for just a little bit more money and have a better pump with more use.
Nice i have never tried a GX19 but i may have to. Agree on the overpriced little we justified it since it ws for our business as well. I think in a few years they will make a cheaper version. We do like how small and compact it is just because we fo alot of apartments and going up 3 flights with a small bag is much better then anything bigger . Thanks for watching !
Give a follow up review after about 6-9 months. I own a Graco cordless handheld which works fine, but it has some issues that I didn't find out about right away. I'm wondering how long the pump will last in the Quick Shot (Graco claims 200 gal) before it gives up the ghost. Also, what does a replacement pump cost and is it as easy as the cordless handheld to change.
will do! Thanks for the idea im going to try to keep track of the gallons sprayed.I think i have seen the raplements for around $250 not sure on how easy the install is.
It’s good for a while but I’ve been using one for about a year now and I have to say it’s on the unreliable side for me. I do cabinets as well so I use it quite a bit. Water based coatings only. I’ve had the motor replaced twice and the gun replaced twice all on separate occasions. But when it works it works well it’s just the reliability especially for the price
Little pro tip for you, don't wear it forward where the paintcontainer is toward the back. Have the line wrap close to your body and back toward you? And get the bigger battery and it will off weight, the unit perfect.
Looks cool but still seems way over priced. It costs more than a Titan 440 impact and won’t have close to the durability. It should have been priced around $599.
@@narutosan2006 you can deduct it but most likely it will have to be depreciated over time, expensed over time, instead of all in one year. That may depend on who’s doing your taxes. Still, it’s mucho expensive for a tiny unit.
Looks great! Perhaps for a medium to large cabinet shop. But $1400 for a DIY wood shop? Probably not! That's right up there with major woodworking tools. Overpriced when less expensive alternatives will work just fine.
8 months later would you still recommend this sprayer? I have a Titan 440 Impact but I get tired of dealing with the hose in confined areas and small jobs. And, would this be suitable for ceiling spraying say, a 10x10 room?
I’m a painter I want this for priming/ painting cabinets haven’t tried it but I don’t see my self spraying a whole room with this.. might be able to handle it but at the price range if your doing bigger jobs like that I doubt this is for you. Regardless this thing is a cool gadget to have on the side. More convenient for smaller jobs.
