I really like this one. Everything you make is first class. I personally like to use my offset smoker as a grill almost as much as a smoker, so this would be perfect for me. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your work.
Allen, I love your work. If it was easy to ship your grills and smokers to Fiji I would have a complete set of your work in my backyard. Keep up the great work.
I think your designs are way better than most the big names out there, and I like watching your videos. Quite the skilled craftsman you are! I would love one just like this, only instead of using the extra height to give room for a charcoal grate to grill on, I would use it to space out my two racks further apart. Awesome design.
As always Allen, a great build. Every time I watch a video of yours I learn something new. You are truly gifted and talented. You inspire us all to to get creative. Thank You for all you do and show us.
Nice work.Im old school too.I use a torch on everything.Everyone is always asking why not use a plasma cutter. If your good with a torch it doesn't matter.I only use a plasma on 16 gauge.Nice work.
Very nice Allen. Like always great craftsmanship. Hope soon I can get started on mine for you to build. Keep up the good work and the videos. God bless.
I am amazed on your straight lines with the torch. Have you ever considered a drag tip and a straight edge. Seems like a lot of your cuts are straight. It would really speed up your cuts and be laser straight!
Alan What is the ideal depth in your humble but honest opinion, for a portable fire ring? I am being told everything from 4 inches to 18 inches. Right now mine is 12 inches and yes it looks deep.
Love your work ! I hate to ask, but if you find the time someday, I personally would be greatful if you did a video on how to use a cutting torch the right way. I really enjoy your videos and work style.
Can you explain why do you use a plasma cutter and also, if you could use one , would you be using a plasma instead of torch? I am deciding what to buy .. thanks
Allan just curious where you buy your iron when I was working in the weld shop the boss used enough to buy from a supplier about 200 miles away they had a truck route that would stop at several shops like every 2 weeks was cheaper than the local suppliers say 30 miles away I use to buy all my personal stuff from my boss now days I just get my supplies down the road from a local welding unless I have a large project he's higher priced but convenient sometimes I'll buy strap iron an drops at the salvage yards most of my consumables I'll get at like air gas or Mathewson's some of that salvage yard iron will be magnetized and does not weld very well
Hey mate, I’ve been watching heaps of your videos straight outta Australia. Love what you’ve been doing. I’m in the process of putting together a 44 gallon drum offset smoker. ( you guys call it a 55 gallon drum). Anyways I’m having trouble with figuring out what to do with my fire box. I’ve heard to have a box about 1/3 the size of the barrel. Just not sure how big to have the air flow from the fire box to the cook chamber. Think you could give me a hand? Much appreciated mate. Cheers 👍
Allen you're the MAN..! Good looking smoker and I think it's a fair price too. You're a hard working man and should be rewarded for it. Great job on the videos too... the editing is much better. One question, how do you clear out the ash after a cook....? The basket holds the wood and the ash falls inside the firebox compartment?
I was curious on your cool chamber how wide are you making each piece? Gonna start building mine soon and was curious so I can compare the size before I build
I can I get the full specs of that grill/smoker build, I wanted to order from you but I'm the Philippines so that is not gonna happen, so if you could help me that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hey Allen keep up the good work. I have a question for you. I'll be making my racks for my smoker here soon. What gage would you recommend using for expanded steel?
Another quality build!! You make the art of welding look simple. I always enjoy your videos and look forward to many more. I am planning to get with you and make a purchase soon. Thanks for sharing.
Im very interested in your bbq pits, I’m from Texas and I’m really liking your price, what part of texas are you from, I’m very close to Houston, I’d be willing to pick up something like this man !
