- this is a follow up video to the video i made 3 years ago called "Measuring ASMR" .. because so many of the comments were about the difference in size between the dominoes, i thought it would be fun and possibly tingly to play around more closely with precision measuring instruments.. enjoy :O)

Dr. T ASMR I figured it had to be either something like that, or a calibration issue with one of the tools as you compared measurements taken from different devices... i’m overthinking this aren’t I 😂
@@DrT_ASMR maybe the gauge wasn't fully perpendicular to top of the cylinder ?
Same I caught it right away I was like he whole measured that one for the other side and is now doing the measurement for the other one too. My mind said watafuk

I love this type of asmr, he explains how to measure things, something simple but interesting, and he makes it relaxing, I would love if he made more of this, explaining things in asmr, it a lot better than many profesors I had.

Yes they are. Fortunately, the commercial I got at the beginning was about the new teeth cleaning device, Clean T. I enjoyed watching it for 3 minutes. If I still had teeth I'd buy it. But at least DR T got paid for me watching it.

how is it i'm learning more here than i am in my a-level classes. i genuinely think asmr could be a really useful tool in education. like, if my biochemistry classes were taught like this, i feel like i'd be much more engaged and i'd learn a lot more. it's a shame the world isn't ready for that. great video (:
Everyone learns slightly differently.
I say there are generally two main categories though, Learning though Practice and, what this would be; Learning though Osmosis.
There are many other types though, finding the best for you is far better for you than just blindly doing what other people tell you is 'How you should learn'.
That video 3 years ago is and will be my all time favourite ASMR video. I love the sounds coming from that measuring device.

Measuring ASMR and the video where you were a knife dealer and you measured the blades lengths and widths were my absolute fav ASMR videos when they were released years ago super stoked to see a follow up! I fell asleep to this one, then woke back up and continued to watch just because of how interesting measurements are to me! Probably my new fav ASMR video!

I like how this video took me back to my 3 years of working with injection plastics molding machines and having to measure parts. The discrepancies between them were always incredibly small, much like the doc here pointed out in the video. All well done good sir.
I absolutely love these types of videos. These more technical/lesson type videos that are also relaxing.
i just realized how biased my job in a precision milling factory got me. everything more than 0.04 millimeters off is usually out of tolerance
You work in an expensive factory haha
Same where I work our tolerance is 2 microns
As someone stuck working in micron and nanometers on the regular, I feel that pain.
i work in a contact lens manufacturing facility and we use microns for all tolerances ;P

As a precision machining student myself. I LOVE your videos. Especially when you use all of the extra precise tools. I work with them everyday in the shop but you make them so much more calming
