Dunno but it is obvious that the Halo marketing team should have done small machinima as marketing since god knows when. It's more effective that 5 minute long trailers with explosions and no idea what's happening.

They were canonized. The stories were simulations but the actual Chimera Spartan, well, not Spartan but "Executor" was born not long ago. Sloan promised that soon they will be "Legion". Alluding at the fact that the Executors are made by force, people snatched and made into artificial Spartans with no memory of their previous life.

@@shadowlee02 We might be heading into that in either Halo 7 or the MP as The Created and everyone else got the coords for Zeta Halo right before the campaign started (please buy the Rubicon Protocol, masterful novel), worse case scenario?, it gets stuck in the extended universe (Waypoint, books). But it seems these guys might be the temporal Promethean replacement as the Created lost a ton of hardware once Cortana poofed out of the universe. Patchwork solution came into place. Making human resources into military assets... by force.

The Multiplayer Spartan bots in ODST and SPARTAN difficulty.
Now just remember the Spartan difficulty bots that gave you trouble but picture them all with Chimera armor and that's how things are going if this happens in Halo 7 if the Created arrive to Zeta.

I actually use the Chimera core to make a hybrid between the mechanical horror and flood armor pieces as they're a similar concept

343 take some notes 📝 you start the game off as the arbiter in a banished prison, he’s stripped of all his armor showing his mark of shame as a brute says “the destruction of the prophets all in sour meat” then it flash’s to the master chef where it left off. Then you switch from character to character in each chapter that brings them together. Then in the next one they end it all!!! I have a very big file of halo ideas because for 3/4s of my life I wanted to work on halo.

If you have fought Spartan bots in the Multiplayer. Exactly that, now imagine them all with the Chimera core armor customization and coatings. Now imagine fighting one or 4 of them in Heroic difficulty or higher in campaign at the same time with only a squad of Marines backing you up.
This is a reference to how GOOFY Chimera Core players look like to the average Halo Player.

Why did 343 turn halo into fortnite and all the other stupid GIGANTIC games that cater to goofy, cartoony, children, get AS MANY PEOPLE TO BUY IT AS POSSIBLE
We deserve it because people are so ignorant that they keep buying it. Every game.
I really, really hope the chimera armour is building up to something. Id love for atleast the next halo game to mash up the factions we've previously had , something like destiny's taken with the covenant remnant, banished, ONI and the insurrection taking up the role of third parties, trying to gain power. Meanwhile with each game the created are slowly morphing into a faction like the flood, the flood logic plague exists and is 100% present in Cortana, we've known this since before even halo 3 released and we do SEE Cortana is compromised, she may be clawing herself back together but during the mission sharing her name we see the grave mind manipulating her.
Why not do some sort of cosmic horror, the flood gravemind does not have enough biological matter but has instead allowed almost all technology in the galaxy to be compromised, causing him to gradually manifest in technology with each game fighting the created start them off as a UNSC looking faction and have them gradually devolve into an aesthetic like chimera and then ultimately get backed up by biological flood when critical mass is reached and it drops the façade.
Halo has a chance to revive its narrative post infinite, wrap up the endless and push the created, its not the angle people really wanted... if halo 5s marketing wasn't pushing ONI so hard.
Imagine wasting time & money making machinemas when you could maybe be doing something productive like idk, fixing the mess that Halo infinite still is to this day years after release, or maybe even just making the next game. Or, hear me out, making the story narratives for MP that you decuded to cancelled because you dont have money but then decude to spemd money making this stuff and charging a weeks wage for a bloody helmet....
As someone who played Halo before 343 existed.
Hell Divers 2 outshined Halo infinite.
Halo could have become something great and 343 lied to us about the experience.

I see a lot of knowledgeable lore nerds in the comments. I know the bear bones all the way to Halo 5. From my understanding they retconned 5's story in a novel before infinites release. Someone was saying Cortana made these things is that in the novel? People are also talking about Halo 7 are they still following the "original" plot with chief then or?

It's funny that 343 said that the reason for not having cross core is due to clipping issues and now we have the mark iv and v with the gun in your back literally trasspasing the armors and even the rakshasa core have floating the gun in your back

I am all for weird as hell spartan armor, but I think the major issue (disclaimer, I dont play infinite) that there is no spartan armor that is covenent theme.
But if they want to show respect they got to eliminate this armor coating system and divide between colors and other visual features like scars and whatnot
That is the worst Spartan armor I’ve ever seen. I hope the next game launches without this shitty type of armor and on top of that I hope it release in the complete state.
