    Pretty close to the arcade version, especially the graphics; quite impressed! The Japanese version includes the inverted cross in the chapel stage, unlike the censored US Turbografx-16 version.

    For the boss in stage 3, if you don't want to carry the first shotgun with you all the way to the end you can easily kill him by emptying the second shotgun into him and then doing a slide kick.

    Cool but maybe show some more death animations in these playthroughs. Sometimes they are the best part of these old games. You dispatched of the chainsaw boss so fast we didn't get to see what he does.

      I agree I hate these smart alecks going through a game without being hit they think they deserve a medal for crying out loud!

    I'm playing through this now on my PC Engine Core Grafx mini. It's the first time I've ever played this version, I'm far more familiar with parts 2 and 3 on Mega Drive. Really love this version though. I also have the Splatterhouse LCD game which I understand is pretty rare.
