A very personable and talented footballer, whom I will be sad to see leave. When Brins was tried in a sweeper / centre back role earlier this season, I was really impressed. He reminded me very much of the late great Pedro Richards, who similarly converted from being a regular right back in the late 1970s/early 1980s, which team went on to achieve promotion to the top flight under Howard Wilkinson & Jimmy Sirrel.
Richard Brindley was a decent fullback in a back four. Fact is we have tried a different combination of players in a back three and they have all struggled. Persist with a back three next season and its a relegation battle. J Jones and A Namane will never make defenders.

Great servant and I wish him well. He's had some good games this season but definitely the right time for him to move on.
