You did that so beautifully! Thank you ! I lost my zipper foot and haven't been able to find a new one so this tutorial will help me so much in a pinch! Again, it looks so beautiful, and you made it so easy! Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and for being a positive energy in the world!

Thank you so much! This is just what I was looking for. I was trying to figure it out on my own as I'm quite new to sewing and your tutorial made it look so easy. You're going to be the driving force behind my first zipper installation. Good work!
Thank you for this clear, concise instructional. I, too, have always heard how hard zippers are to work with, and I don't have a zipper foot yet so I was nervous. However, I followed your instructions with success right after watching the video. Thanks for the info and the boost in confidence!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Last minute is not the best time to start projects, but you just made mine far more simple. I've actually never heard of a zipper foot, and when I suddenly discovered I didn't have one, I didn't know what to do. I think I can make my way along now, thanks to this awesome vid.
Yes, those little "feet" have a tendency to go missing. I hope my video will help you install your zipper using your regular pressure foot. Thanks for watching and for your comment...Happy Sewing!
Am new to sewing and can't find a zipper foot for my old Singer machine. Nothing on Amazon works or makes any sense. Thanks so much for this! This was so helpful.
Thank you SO much for making this so easy! I have been terrified of sewing zippers with my regular foot but this video makes me feel more confident. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It has helped me tremendously. I am not sewing a zipper but poly cord on an awning an I just couldn't wrap my head around how to do it without a zipper foot.
I was taught to sew the seam up basting stitch place zipper on top sew with needle, left or right placement the stitch. Then open the seam back up removing the basted stitches and that’s that. Yours is good too thanks. Newer machine you can lower the pressure feet down Flush with the zipper teeth
Yes queen!!! Short & straight to the point with clear instructions and visuals!! God I miss the old RUclips 🥲 screw consumerism, there's no need for two thousand attachments lol Thank you for this !!! 🙏
+o0OsalixO0o Thank you! I try to make my videos short and to the point because I don't like watching LONG videos and I'm sure my subcribers feel the same way. Thanks for noticing and for watching my video. Happy Sewing!
Thanks so much! I was making a fursuit and i needed a way to get in and out of it, but all i had was a zipper. I didn't know how to put a hidden zipper in the suit, untill i watched THIS video! such a lifesaver, ty for making this X3
Yees! Straight to the point. Love videos like this... I watched one that was 20 mins and they had a zipper foot :@ got soo irritated, u saved my life ;)
thank you for your video very helpful :) i was practicing putting a zipper and i was getting it wrong until i watched this!! than you so much for sharing! :)
Hi! I can tell you a really easy way to do this. First, after you've chosen where to insert the zipper, sew the seam closed. Then with the wrong side out, press open the seam and place the zipper on the seam. Make sure the teeth of the zipper are EXACTLY in line with the seam. This will not work if the zipper is even slightly out of place. Then just sew along both the sides of zipper and lastly, rip the seam open and you're done!! :D
Yes! You can do this for any zipper style. It will however be a little more challenging with an invisible zipper. Check out video on installing an invisible zipper and you will see what I mean. Thanks so much for watching and for your comment.
This has been the best video I have found about installing a zipper without the zipper foot.
