Troubleshooting a parasitic drain on my daughter’s 2012 Liberty right now. This is the perfect video to help me. Gotta go to the auto parts store now to get a post clamp that’ll let me put the negative line in series 👍

Thank you for sharing this valuable information! Parasitic drain is the plague of modern autos with electronic saturation. I appreciate your time

I saw a guy here on RUclips remove his fuse box and open it like a clamshell, where there are 6 (I think) white relays inside as well. Any idea what they go to?

@@shadjohnsen8143 No, I've not seen that. I no longer have this Jeep, so I can't verify. I have a Jeep Gladiator now.

Hiii Can we get an update? Was it just the windshield wipers or something else? How long did the car battery last? Does the liberty have any current issues?
Thank you for the video! I’m having a parasite problem

I have a drain on battery, I noticed headlights going on and off . Headlight switch not in auto position. I used a light between negative terminal and battery post. I was getting an oscillating effect on the light. The fuse I pulled to get it to stop was for ignition off drain.
My key remote doesn’t work now and radio memory doesn’t work. If I leave that fuse out battery doesn’t drain. Any idea what could be the problem in this circuit

The fuse you pulled was for "ignition off drain"? I've never seen a fuse with that label before.

My girl has a 2005 Jeep Liberty that has had a new battery put in and alternator tested and working just fine. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions about what? Is the battery being drained?

I got .16 mil amps. Is that ok?

I assume you mean .16 amps, which would be 160mA. or do you mean 160 micro amps? 160mA may be a bit high, but not outside the realm of normal these days with all of the computer controlled systems. I guess as long as your battery is holding up for the duration you are not driving, all is good.

@srtamplification .16 amps. I pulled the JP power fuse. Dropped to 0. Put it back in, went back up to .16 amps. I read there is a connection under the carpet under the drivers side back seat. I will check that next.
